Very nice place. Great house and host

For us it was very good.

The guesthouse was humble, not fancy. There was a shared toilet/sink bathroom on 2nd floor (which has 3 rooms). No problem getting in it. It was basic but fine. Downstairs 2 rooms and the full bathroom and kitchen. All were very adequate. Nothing fancy at all but clean and functional. The room also was clean and functional and basic. The location was excellent, very near several grand boulevards (maybe 2 blocks walk) that offered very nice restaurant and sight seeing options. The museums were good and close as well as the bus and taxi stops. Very convenient for sightseeing and travel. Great value for the low cost. Good access 24/7. They did offer low cost breakfast, low cost laundry and iron and board available. One of the family has good English skills. Very kind and helpful family run it.

The common areas are inside and also connected through doors to an outside courtyard. Both were rustic but functional. There were quite a few mosquitos through much of the day. The screens on the windows were not great. Many units have an air conditioner but I did not want to use that. Again the bathrooms are shared. I was fine with that but what do you want? There can be some noise between units especially if one group stays up late and the other retires early evening. I noticed once but not a problem for me. They did have some quiet hours posted.
