My Angra Charming House

Quick and easy communication with the owners, great walkable location, very comfortable bed, cute quaint room with attached bathroom, felt like a home, loved Mevlida-kitchen/housekeeping staff. She greeted us with a smile every morning, fun conversations and made sure we were taken care of. Plentiful breakfast included. Easy free street parking available.

Unfortunately the hot water broke during our stay. We were given an option to shower in an attached apartment that wasn’t affected by the break.

I stayed in a private room with a private bathroom (located outside of the room with a separate key). The room & bathroom were very comfortable and clean. Sancha and the staff were very accommodating as I arrived earlier than usual check-in time and the room was ready. Similarly, to check out, I needed to leave my luggage (there is a cupboard to leave luggage near reception) so they arranged my access for the afternoon. The check-in/check-out process is easy too, with clear instructions sent via email in advance. The breakfast selection is good, including some local/homemade items too! Overall - excellent value for money.

If staying facing the street you may hear some street noise e.g. vehicles passing/roadworks, but this is during the day and I didn't have a problem with this during the evening.

The staff were very friendly and super helpful. The room was very large with great natural light. The bed was so comfortable.! The breakfast was more than generous and the location could not be beat. Such a wonderful find! I cannot recommend My Angra Charming enough.

Overall architecture of the apartment is impressive.

As far as the room we stayed in is concerned, we needed to cross shared areas of the apartment to reach our private toilet. Early morning breakfast preparation in the kitchen is noisy and we could hear it from our room.
