Sucio, la coladera de la regadera tapada, se inundó el baño, mi esposo tuvo que destapar la coladera y sacó una cantidad de pelos. Los cajones de la cocina estaban sucios, en uno encontré pedazos de pasta ya hervida. La sala donde estaba el sofá cama, una de las ventanas sin cortinas.

Location is fantastic! Apartment is beautiful, well decorated and full of sunlight. Apartment was very clean and had many towel options and covers. Free coffee capsules was a nice touch :)

Toilette is not up to the same standard as the rest of the apartment. It's separate from lavatory and shower and its not comfortable. Apartment was very clean, but cabinets (bedroom and bathroom) where messy with things from the owner. Kitchen utensils were half in the washer, half on the drawer. Bedroom window is not working properly, we had to contact the owner to know the trick to close it. Living room (second bed) windows insulate sound very poorly.

The position, equidistant between the Opera Garnier, the Louvre & the Palais Royal, could perhaps not be bettered. The apartment is spacious & offers a more intimate experience of being embedded in a residential setting in the heart of a city that is becoming ever more a stage set pseudo-celebrity poseurs.

For a property whose rates seem to oscillate seasonally between 400€ & 600€ per night the state of maintenance & cleanliness is correspondingly outrageously obscene. The furniture is universally dilapidated & deeply compromised by structural stains. The sofa which doubles as a second bed is irredeemably filthy, as are the dining chairs, which look as if they were scavenged on the verge of the Périphérique. Carpets are sordid & shabby, window frames smeared with remnants of glue, ledges encrusted with soot-black dirt. Lamps are rickety, tables scratched & several doors do not close. The toilet would not be out of place in "The Shining". The television which features so prominently in the publicity is not even connected & there are no instructions as to how any appliances work (if they do). The lighting in the whole flat hovers between sombre & funereal, impossible to see as far as one's plate. The quality of bedding & fittings is in every respect less than I expect for the price. Lastly, despite the introduction of a portable air-conditioning unit, the atmosphere (in summer at least) is stiflingly tropical.
