Great studio with balcony in the city centre but in a quiet neighbourhood.

Nice studio flat with a comfortable bed. Kitchen is small but with several helpful gadgets. Host was nice and flexible with the checkout.

Excellent location, excellent property, great owner, we had a marvelous time.

The owner is a generous person. I have not seen that much care for guests, and it looked like I was inside my own home. Every conceivable thing, be it kitchen, bathroom, living room, bed, blankets, neat & clean bedsheets, towels, you name it, is available and in enough quantity. We are used to bringing most of the things that a family with a kid would need, but here everything was available. There was an iron and an ironing stand, a hair dryer. The list given is true and there are. MY/our heartfelt thanks for both being so kind. Oberammergau is centrally well located to visit the entire GAP area, and we visited many places. We had previously visited individually, but we wanted a stay in the vicinity and go at our own time for photography. Car parking is reserved for Alpina from 18.00 hrs to 9.00 hrs, and then for 2 hours with a parking shield. This was enough. In case one doesn't move for any reason, Michael sent me a location that is free of cost, 24 hours. WIFI has 30mbps speed, which was very good for my daughters :-) For us, a good owner matters most! But here we had everything. A few elderly people frowned upon seeing us in their locality, strolling with a dog. This is understandable; it happens in Munich also. We were happy to have our pet dog, and Alpina management allows that. There is a Lidl shop in 1+km. If I have to come again, I will look for availability here first.

Arguably, there is always room for improvement in anything, but in reality, for a short stay it is very good. One thing that will make thing even better is a larger vent with more powerful exhaust fan in the bathroom. The existing one is fine, it works, but when there are 4 people one after other, the bathroom becomes slightly full of closed air. But I won't see that as negative. The Electro herd could be a bit more powerful, but again it is not that biting issue. It takes a bit longer to make tea, boil pasta. We always move with own Induction that is more powerful. Induction has a downside, as all utensils much conform to it.

The room is perfect and had all the necessary things for the stay and even to cook simple meals. I visited with my wife and parents and would definitely recommend if you are looking for comfortable and accessible place to stay.

A nice place to stay in Oberammergau

The apartment is bright and comfortable. It is located near the center at a 10-15 minute walk from the train station. You can cook as the kitchen is well equipped. You can also enjoy some nice moments on the balcony.

Highly recommend this place!

Everything was soo perfect. The hosts were amazing!! Communication was on top. I really really recommend this place. We enjoyed our stay here. Not only it is so cosy, clean and comfortable, also it is located 5-7 minutes from a bus station, which is good for those who travel on their own. And special thanks for guests cards, they were useful for our trip to Schwangau and Neuschwanstein castles. It is possible to get discount for cable car with these cards, but we didn’t know about it which is ok. I would really love to stay here once again when we’ll be back to Oberammergau.

Sehr zentrale Lage und ausreichend für zwei Personen. Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern ist unkompliziert. Sie waren zu jeder Zeit höflich und hilfsbereit.

Es gibt zwei (kleine) Dinge, die nicht ganz funktioniert haben. 1. Für die Spüle in der Küche gibt es keinen Verschluß, so dass man beim Abwaschen ein wenig "erfinderich" sein musste, damit das Wasser nicht ständig läuft (wir haben den größten Topf genutzt). 2. Es gibt kein normales Fernsehprogramm. Soweit wie ich das verstanden habe, muss man sich bei Google TV anmelden und dann kann man wohl entsprechende Apps nutzen.

A quiet haven

Merveilleux emplacement près du coeur de la ville, propriétaire à l'écoute, bonnes équipements. Nous sommes resté deux nuits seulement mais nous devrions avoir fait un plus long séjour.

Pas vraiment des négatifs, seulement la difficulté de trouver un parking le samedi nuit (le soirée d'une festival de la musique dans la ville).

- pełne wyposażenie, niczego nie brakowało - lokalizacja praktycznie w centrum pięknego miasteczka - bezproblemowe zameldowanie - możliwość zaparkowania auta w weekendy pod samym apartamentem (w dni robocze parking w odległości spaceru)

- zupełnie nie było się do czego przyczepić

La posizione ed il parcheggio.

Abbiamo trovato il WC sporco e la casa non brillava in pulizia. Per il divano letto matrimoniale abbiamo dovuto procurarci noi le lenzuola ammassate nell'armadio e abbiamo trovato dei cuscini sporchi.
