About this house rental

Our newly (2019) built holiday home is located in the Ammergauer Alpen Nature Park (District Garmisch-Partenkirchen). In addition to the two large bedrooms (approx. 18 sqm), each with large double beds, there is another bedroom with two single beds. The house has two bathrooms, one of them (approx. 10qm) with a corner bath and a very large walk-in shower (1,2m x 1,2m).

The very bright and spacious living area (living, dining and kitchen area - approx. 30 sqm) is equipped with a 75 inch SmartTV. You can enter from the living area two terraces (south and west side) (garden furniture and grill are present).

A large carport (approx. 5m x 3.5m) and a very large lockable garage (approx. 7.5m x 3.5m) are exclusively at your disposal. In the garage there is a wallbox where you can charge your electric car (currently 50 cents/KWh).

The prices include all taxes and fees. You will receive an electronic guest card with which, among other things, bus connections to nearby attractions (Neuschwanstein Castle, Linderhof Castle, Wieskirche, Ettal Monastery, Oberammergau, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Füssen, etc.) can be used free of charge.

Public transport is less than 5 minutes' walk away. Munich can be reached by train in approx. 1.5 hours. Munich airport is about 2.5 hours by train. Memmingen airport is about 1.5 hours by car.

The house is superb. Fully furnished to enjoy your stay. We enjoyed the barbecue, the nice bathrooms and cosy furnishing. The host was always responsible and helpful. Thanks. Very highly recommended and would reserve it again without any doubt.

My family and I stayed at this property for the better part of a week. First, the property is fairly new and very clean! There was plenty of space for our family. The surrounding village is quaint and beautiful. The location of the property in proximity to the village was ideal. Unfortunately there were a few issues. First, there is no air conditioning in this home- not even a fan. I would guess locals are used to sleeping in the heat-however we are not locals and we would not stay here again during the summer months. Upon walking into this home, it was uncomfortable (we stayed in mid-July). At night, it was unbearable. We opened all of the windows, but it was sweltering. No one slept well- I would guess the home was between 85-90 degrees F at night. It was impossible to get comfortable. The temperature was so high, we paid to stay somewhere else the first couple of nights until the weather turned later in the week. After a couple of days in a hotel (with air conditioning), we came back to the house. It was never comfortable, and became very hot again the last couple of days. When we stayed at the hotel, our kids left some windows open. The host was very nice, but she emailed us to let us know some neighbors “had not seen us in two days and the windows were open” during a rain storm. I understand they were worried about their home. No damage was caused, but the experience made us feel like we were being watched. We made sure the curtains were closed the rest of the week.

Beautiful home in a very quiet community. Property is newly built and very nicely furnished. Communication was great from the time we reserved through us checking out. Highly recommend the short walk to the "mud" baths. Thanks for your hospitality and we hope to visit again in the future!

Das Haus ist - wie von den Vormietern treffend beschrieben - bestens großzügig und super eingerichtet. Es fehlt an nichts, evtl. ein Hocker im oberen Bad? Trotz überwiegend gemischtem Wetter haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt - auch dank des einmaligen Fernsehbildes! Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern war herausragend.

Das Ferienhaus ist neu errichtet, die Räumlichkeiten sehr großzügig und komfortabel eingerichtet. Das Erdgeschoss mit der Küche und dem Essbereich ist mit allen Geräten und Gegenständen bestückt, die gebraucht werden. Der Wohnbereich mit der gemütlichen Couh und dem Hammerfernsehen (75 Zoll!) lädt zum Ausklingen des Tages ein. Das Obergeschoss mit den drei Schlafzimmern und dem großen Luxusbad ist mit guten Betten ausgestattet. Wir haben gut geschlafen. Insgesamt ist das Haus dem Preis entsprechend ausgestattet, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Garten rund ums Haus lädt mit den variablen Sitzmöbeln zu einem Sonnenbad ein, Dank des Wetters haben wir das gut nutzen können. Der Gasgrill, der zur Verfügung stand und das Kaminholz für den Kaminofen haben wir gar nicht in Gebrauch gehabt. Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin war sehr freundlich und angenehm. Es gab viele Hinweise für die Wohnung und die Sehenswürdigkeiten der Umgebung. Wir können das Ferienhaus uneingeschränkt empfehlen, die Umgebung von Bad Kohlgrub ist optimal für viele Tagesausflüge. Tipp von uns: Hörnlebahn und Museum Glentleiten / Radtour um den Staffelsee Danke an Frau Fend für den megaerholsamen Urlaub!

Wir waren begeistert von unserem Aufenthalt. Das Haus und die Einrichtung ist neu und hochwertig. Einziger Kritikpunkt wäre, dass kleine Dinge des täglichen Bedarfs in der Küche nicht vorhanden waren (u.a. Zucker, Küchentücher). Wir können das Haus aber jedem empfehlen!
