About this house rental
Escape to our cozy lakeside cottage in beautiful Kirkfield, perfect for a relaxing getaway or an adventure-filled vacation. This charming retreat offers three spacious bedrooms, comfortably accommodating your family or group of friends.
Nestled on the serene Canal Lake, enjoy picturesque views & a tranquil atmosphere.
Our property features direct lake access, complete with a boat house.
Spend your days fishing right off the dock or taking a refreshing swim in the clear waters of Canal Lake.
• Quite hours between 9 pm & 8 am
• No shoes in the house
• Guest should bring their own firewood and ensure fire is put out at end of use.
• Early check in or late check out can be arranged when available based on availability.
• Thank you for your thoughtfulness and consideration in leaving the cottage (inside and out) clean and tidy. For guest use, Cottage has a broom, dustpan, dish soap and vacuum
• No loud music or parties or events at anytime
• No Fireworks are allowed in the property at all times. Its against the township by-law.
• Insects and wildlife are a part of cottage country. Please discourage them by keeping doors and screens closed.
• Maximum two pets allowed.
• Pets cannot be left unattended, and we ask that you pick up after your pet.
• Please do not put anything into the toilets but into the trash cans provided in the washrooms for paper towels, Kleenex, tampons, pads, flushable wipes, hair etc
• Please clean and empty fridge, microwave, and Oven.
• Empty all garbage containers.
• There is a fire ban in the region for the month of April. Lighting an outdoor fire at this time will lead to penalties imposed by the city officials.
• GUESTS ARE TO TAKE GARBAGE AND RECYCLE BACK WITH THEM AT THE END OF THEIR STAY.
• Summer seasonal activities (dock) are available for guest use between Victoria Day weekend to Thanksgiving weekend.

The cottage has a great layout for a smallish family gathering and has a great outdoor space. The waterfront is at a quiet and beautiful part of the lake with lots of wildlife and was really nice at sunset and sunrise.

We all enjoyed our stay at this cottage. The cottage is a nice size and we enjoyed our family time.
