The area is known for beautiful beaches, dreamy sunsets and a convenient location near Grocery/Liquor Stores, Restaurants, Bars, Salon, Massage, etc. About a mile to La Jolla cove, downtown LJ or Bird Rock. 2 miles to pacific beach.
Villa Solana, Villa Serena, And Villa Tranquila are perfect for a pet-centric vacation and each booking helps Luckydog Sanctuary provide care for rescued pets.
The Space:
Villa Solana is a shabby-chic, vintage tiny-home. This little spot is a cottage-syle studio guest house with aprivate entrance and fenced patio. This property accepts only humble and respectful travelers who wish to support Luckydog Sanctuary.
The sofa bed is miniature (sofa approx 54"x31"; bed area 46.5"x80.5"). It sleeps two kids (or 1 small adult).

Guest Access:
The entire cottage and patio space is for the private use of guests with the exception of times that access is needed for purposes of cleaning, maintenance, and repairs.
The Neighborhood:
The neighborhood is officially called the Beach Barber Tract, but most call it "Windansea"
Our listing in unique in that is is super convenient. At the corner there is a bus stop and lighted crosswalk to help you access the beach (please be careful crossing any street).
You can walk to grocery store, restaurants, bars, salons, spas, convenience stores, holistic wellness spas and a bakery, in just a few minutes. There is even a little park up the street where dogs and owners socialize and kids enjoy the play area.
Getting Around:
You can reach everything you need on foot. If you wish to take a longer trip want to or load up on groceries and don't have a vehicle, the bus stop is just at the corner. Lyft and Uber drivers are abundant for 24/7 transportation.

💰Save! We partner with a super-cleaner who you can pay directly—no markup, no 12.75% tax, and no 15-20% platform fee. Guests pay just $25/hr, saving $60–$100 on a typical cleaning. If a back-up cleaner is needed, the cost will be typical for the area.

🌿 Pet & wildlife-friendly! We abstain from using harsh toxins that will harm pets or wildlife. No animals other than domestic dogs and cat approved by Host are allowed on Property.
