I have stayed here on two separate occasions. I have enjoyed my stays and found the staff to be very friendly, helpful and courteous. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Sakura to any travellers.

The place was a bit below expectations upon arrival, with construction noise next door early Saturday morning outside their control, but the second night I spotted a bed bug in the privacy curtain and then my opinion cratered. The location is great, the forth floor shower heater didn't seem to work, the door to the man's bed dorm is clunky, there is no potable water provided, and things just generally seem slapdash or in misrepair. I'm not entirely sure where the staff were - they happened to be there when I checked in late, but didn't see them any other time in a two night stay with multiple coming and going - maybe I mistook them for guests. I'd say 6/10 before bed bugs - would be worth it for price / location for sure.
