    My stay at Mitsui Garden Hotel Kyoto Sanjo Premier was absolutely outstanding. The location is ideal — peaceful yet perfectly placed for exploring Kyoto’s temples, streets, and hidden corners. The service was warm, polished, and consistently attentive, making the whole experience feel effortless. The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with fresh, thoughtful options that set you up for the day. And the public bath — truly amazing. After a long day wandering Kyoto, soaking in that serene, beautifully maintained bath felt like the ultimate reset. It’s one of those features that elevates the entire stay. No faults at all. I’d return in a heartbeat.

    The public Onsen while new is too spartan and plain lacking any warmth. Quite uninviting

    There was bed bugs which is astonishing for Mitsui garden Premier standard. We were unable to sleep properly during our stay.
