Ruckas muiža

Very cozy, nice atmosphere, there is library and big dining area + restaurant downstairs. Rooms are 19. century themed and we even had our own coffe machine. There is extra coffe machine in the library with some snacks. Bed was very comfortable.

Shared bathrooms. Mens bathroom was a bit clogged and there were no shelves or hangers for items in the showers. Only two toilets for whole floor (I think there were 6-10 rooms on our floor).

What a spectacular place. One of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The rooms are in the upstairs of the historic Ruckas Manor, a beautiful old building nestled in the middle of a park which was once the grounds of the estate. On the ground floor is a restaurant, which was closed when we visited, being only open on the weekends. We got extremely lucky and were the only ones there. We had the entire estate all to ourselves. We drank wine in the sun-dappled garden facing out on to a meadow of flowers with rabbits running around. There is a friendly gray cat that lives on the grounds. Magical! The hostess was extremely friendly during my brief interaction with her, gave a clear tour of the available facilities and communicated in excellent English.

Bed was a bit hard for our tastes, thicker curtains in the room would also have been appreciated. Very, very small complaints for an overall amazing experience, but these aspects could be improved pretty easily, I think.

Bija patīkams personāls restorānā. Vismaz bija bezmaksas 4 ūdens pudeles un 4 kruzites numurā ar pašceptam cepumiem. Gultā bija ļoti ērta. Mēbeles bija stilīgas. Man patika skats no loga.

Pietrūka brokasti muižas ēdamzāle. Numura nebija nekadu galdiņu vai skapiti neskatot mazos kumodes. Tualetes un dušas bija kopigas koridorā, ka hosteli. Nakts apsardze un apkopejas personāls nebija informēti, ka mēs ka vienīgi palikām šajā muiža pa nakti. Varetu but, ka tāpēc viņi vērā vaļā musu numuriņa durvis bez bridinajuma ( piemēram nakts sargs plkst. 23.00). Pietrūka viesmīlības no personāla puses. Nedzīrdejam nekādu paldies par to, ka tieši izvelejam šo objektu un nekādu aicinajumu, lai tur vēl varbūt atgriezties nākotnē.
