It is set in a very charming manor. The rooms are beautiful, as well as the library, orangerie, restaurant and garden area. The park is very quiet as well, except for the occasional train which is rare enough for it to add to the ambiance. I must say also, at 27 years old, 22 of which spent in Italy, here I have had the best cooked pizza of my life. The toppings were delicious (seasoned tomato sauce, quality mozzarella, spicy salami, and pickled peppers) but the crust took it all beyond with an airiness and crispness all the way to the last slice. Beyond a doubt the work of a skilful "pizzaiolo", a good oven, and their sourdough yeast.

The bathrooms were communal, and separated between genders. That is fine, as they were very clean, but it would be nice if the curtains were longer so as to have privacy.

A princely place, with a remarkable history, a charming pizzeria, and a beautiful surrounding garden. Enchanting place. The waitress with glasses was very elegant and very kind.

As soon as we arrived, they realized our room was occupied, helped us find another place, and once they confirmed that everything was occupied, they were able to free the room and offered us dinner to make up for the inconvenience.

Man ļoti patika vēstures elpa telpās. Istabiņa bija tīra un patīkama. Ļoti liela latviešu autoru bibliotēka. Un sienām bija lieliskas gleznas. Liela muižas teritorija. Protams, ka kopumā vēl ir daudz darāmā, lai uzlabotu muižas tehnisko stāvokli, tomēr ir redzams, ka īpašnieki to atjauno un par to ir prieks.

Istabiņā pietrūka vietas, kur uzkārt drēbes vai novietot mantas. Prasījās kāds pakaramais/skapis.
