Zeit Hotel

I had a wonderful stay at Zeit Hotel and would happily return. The hotel has a truly special atmosphere — stylish, creative, welcoming. The breakfast was perfect. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, making me feel genuinely welcome from the moment I arrived. The whole place was very clean and well maintained. The location in Līgatne is fantastic, especially if you enjoy nature and want to explore this beautiful part of Latvia. Zeit is much more than just a place to stay — it has its own unique spirit and makes the whole experience memorable.

No elevator for upper floor. cafe/bar and restaurant wasn't open on momdays. The bathroom wasn't very clean, had mold in the tiles. For clean the room you had to put special sign Noone told us.. Usually is the opposite when you don't want to clean the room you place the spesific sign on the door

When booked hotel, didn't know that there will be heavy music concert that night. Instead of peacefull evening, wanted to hide from that noise.

The staff was pleasant and professional.

We stayed at Zeit for one night, while coming to experience a nearby restaurant. As we wanted a pleasant place to stay, Zeit seemed to be the one, according to photos. On arrival, the parking was quite slippery and not treated/cleaned in any way. Upon entry in the room, it had an overwhelming aroma of the sewerage, coming from the shower drain. The room was clean but the bathroom looked like it needed some freshening up – it had some stains from leaks on the ceiling. There was no glasses or drinking water in the room, I went to get some water downstairs from a little kitchenette. We didn't need it but there's also no hairdryer. Breakfast had a very limited selection of food (which in itself isn't a problem) – mostly eggs (differently cooked) and pancakes as well as a porridge. We got some bread basket with few slices of tomato and cucumber, which turned out to be the only side for the boiled eggs I ordered. My friend ate an omelette, which, in turn was rich and came with a salad on the side. Other than that – no fresh juices, no fruit or veg. I think we wouldn't had batted an eye about any of this, if the cost per night would be 2 times less but from a hotel in a place that is not particularly a tourism hot-spot (especially at the end of February) but for 100 Eur/per night we definitely expected more. This is just a very average, overpriced hotel.
