Cute duplex with wonderful seaview, private parking and good location

The duplex is very well located in a secured lot (access with code), 20 minutes walk to Bandol center and 10 minutes by car to Sanary center. Right opposite to the sea, only have to cross the mainroad (not disturbing). Bakery 4 minutes walk. Very useful : reserved parking spot (though a bit tight for a SUV because of surrounding plants). The duplex is on the 2nd and highest floor (no elevator) and has wonderful views over the sea and bay. During our stay in April it was very quiet and pleasant. We found a bottle of local wine as a welcome gift. The duplex seems recently renovated in a tasteful modern, beachy style, all furniture, kitchen and bathroom seem new and good quality. It was clean. The bedroom is upstairs, staircase quite steep. The bed was good, but did not like the cushions (that is very personal). Unfortunately one bedside lamp was missing. The kitchen is a bit small, but has most necessary items including a Nespresso machine, sadly no space for a dishwasher. Some cleaning products, salt pepper, oil , some coffee and tea tea etc were provided. 1 teatowel provided too, an extra hand towel for the kitchen would be appreciated. The bathroom is nice, a bit tight. No toilet articles like soap or shampoo were available, 1 towel per person a bit limited. The shower lacks a place to put shampoo, soap etc and a hook to put a towel would be practical (only hook on the door). Separate toilet with toiletpaper. Enough storage space for clothes etc. Missing information about wifi connection, but contact with responsable person very quick, pleasant and easy. The seperate heating was useful in the morning as the airconditioning heats well the bedroom upstairs but not enough downstairs. We enjoyed our stay here and definitively recommend it for 2 adults for a short vacation. Negative: For a longer period we would miss a washing machine, possibility to wash/dry clothes and a dish washer. Vacuum cleaner did not work well. For more than 2 adults a bit small.

Enge Wohnung, zu teuer, für das was geboten wird

Schöner Blick vom Wintergarten aufs Meer. Die Wohnung selbst ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Zum Strand ca. 500m zu Fuß. Eigener Parkplatz.

Im Hausflur des Gebäudes aus den 70er/80er Jahren müffelt es. Badezimmer sehr klein, vielleicht 2qm. Ablaufkalkspuren in der Toilette. Steile Treppe ins Obergeschoss mit dem Bett, nicht ganz ungefährlich in der Nacht. Dachbalken dort in Stehhöhe ca. 1,80 m. Dachgeschoss ohne Tageslicht, das Dachflächenfenster ist verdunkelt und darf nicht geöffnet werden. Klimaanlage sehr lautstark. Zwischen Wohnung und Meer verläuft die stark befahrene Küstenstraße zwischen Sanary und Bandol.

Ne pas pouvoir ouvrir le velux de la chambre en mezzanine Pas de clim dans cette mezzanine donc très très chaud la nuit Les VMC extrêmement sales. Odeur insupportable dans la salle de bain. Pas de poignée de casserole pour faire sans risque des pâtes

Trångt och varmt men väldigt bra läge.

Läget! Mycket vacker utsikt över Medelhavet från balkongen.

Dålig A/C vilket gjorde att man bara kunde sova i bäddsoffan på nedre våningen och det blev mycket trångt. Temperaturen på övervåningen med den stora sängen gick aldrig under 26 grader trots två dagars kontinuerlig A/C på högsta fart.
