Extremely charming

Very charming place, from the room to the breakfast room. A must-see house. Bikes freely available. Quiet area. Parking free and available. Very friendly staff.

Nothing to dislike. The open bathroom/WC maybe not for everyone from a privacy point of view, as it includes your companions in your WC activities.

I absolutely plan on visiting again. Highlight of my trip.

Boldly stylish interior design, comfortable and airy room, with a great salon for guest use! We were provided an excellent breakfast and were well looked after. Beautiful garden, and the use of some city bikes was great too.

We could unfortunately hear the other guests at night time, but this was a minor concern.

An adventure, a bit worrisome at first, but overall we enjoyed the property, breakfast, and bikes.

Breakfast was wonderful, including perhaps the best French toast I have ever had. The property and grounds and views from upstairs were wonderful. The house is a particular type of estate home found only in the area around Saint Malo. My son and I rode complementary bikes into town, which was a lot of fun.

There was no door to the bathroom, which we found a bit odd. Also, there was noone there to receive us or provide us with a key when we arrived at around 9 PM; nobody answered the property phone number. The only reason we were able to get in was that we happened to come across two other property guests, who showed us to where our key had been left.

Une magnifique malouiniere avec un charme fou, super séjour

L’emplacement est au calme près du centre et on peut ce garer facilement, il y a la possibilité de prendre les vélos pour aller en ville si toutefois il ne pleut pas, la décoration de malouiniere est sublime, les chambres sont spacieuses ainsi que les lieux communs, le déjeuné est copieux et la dame extrêmement gentille une très belle découverte, on reviendra c’est certains, on s’y sent comme à la maison.

Insonorisation laisse à désirer… Nos voisins de chambre ayant leurs wc sur le pallier nous avons entendu toute la nuit les aller-retour incessants et surtout la clé dans la serrure pour ouvrir et refermer. Dommage seul point négatif pour nous, mais nous repartons très fatigués

Endroit incontournable

Très bon endroit pour débuter un séjour en Bretagne en séjournant dans un manoir d'époque. C'est comme un voyage dans le passé mais avec un lit très confortable et une douche moderne. Bon petit déjeuner également avec grand choix de pain. Parking à côté de l'entrée de la propriété.

Le bon petit déjeuner pourrait encore être amélioré avec des confitures et du fromage non emballés individuellement.

Toller Aufenthalt in altem Herrenhaus

Sehr schönes altes Herrenhaus mit außergewöhnlichen freundlichen Gastgeberinnen. Leckeres und vielfältiges Frühstück. Großer Garten und die Küche kann zum Kochen mitbenutzt werden. Wir hatten das Familienzimmer, dies war geräumig und ging über 2 Etagen (2 Kinderbetten oben). Einzig die Tatsache, dass das Bad mit im Zimmer ist ohne Tür muss man mögen :-)

La struttura è certamente curata e piacevole, con ambienti accoglienti che mi avevano convinto nella fase di scelta. L’ospitalità, però, si misura anche nei gesti di attenzione nei momenti imprevisti. Dal mio punto di vista di ospite, la nostra rinuncia al soggiorno per malattia – imprevista e non voluta – comunicata subito, meritava una valutazione diversa: poteva trasformarsi in un’occasione per lasciare un ricordo di autentica accoglienza. Invece, si è scelto di attenersi rigidamente alle proprie regole, rifiutando la cancellazione senza penale prevista, sacrificando così lo spirito di comprensione. Il mancato rimborso non pesa sul piano economico, ma lascia il rammarico per un’occasione persa di dimostrare appieno i valori che il luogo potrebbe rappresentare.

Tolles Haus

Das Haus an sich ist ein tolles Erlebnis. Die Dame, die das Frühstück bereitet, ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Der Vermieter war nicht direkt anwesend, aber per SMS und Telefon sehr gut erreichbar und hilfsbereit. Dass das Bad extern ist (direkt über den Flur), steht ja in der Beschreibung. Das ist aber kein wirkliches Problem. Trotz der kleinen Kritikpunkte (s. u.) sehr gut!

Das Bett ist recht weich und für große Menschen eventuell kurz. Es gibt nur eine Badewanne, keine Dusche.

Französisches Flair, sehr schöner Garten, sehr gut ausgestattete Gemeinschaftsküche, Parkplatz direkt vor der Türe

Das Frühstück ist nicht vielfältig. Es gibt fast nur Süßes und alle Beläge sind in kleinen Plastikpöttchen wie im Krankenhaus. Die Brotbeläge waren von schlechter Qualität. Das einzige Stückchen Käse in Folie schmeckte ganz furchtbar. Der Kaffee war nicht gut bzw. aus einer Senseo Pad Maschine. Die Dame, die das Frühstück serviert, spricht nur französisch. Man bedient sich nicht selbst, sondern bekommt alles an den Tisch gebracht. Das ist an sich sehr nett, allerdings sind die Portionen sehr klein und auf Rückfrage haben wir nur einen sehr kleinen Nachschlag Rührei bekommen.

Le lieu est sublime, le jardin somptueux. Chambre n4 très calme. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et servi par des personnes adorables. C'est un plus d'avoir accès au grand salon et à la cuisine

Il serait quand même chouette d'avoir une porte entre la chambre et la salle de bains notamment quand les toilettes s'y trouve Déçus des produits suremballés du petit déjeuner : emmental sans goût, vache qui rit, confiture. Pourquoi ne pas servir des produits locaux bien plus qualitatifs

Leider hatten wir ein kleines Zimmer unter dem Dach, zu dem gleichen Preis wie die deutlich größeren Zimmer. Für das Zimmer No.1 hätten wir die besten Bewertungen abgegeben. No.4 würden wir nicht empfehlen

Le lit était trop mou et la couette synthétique est très inconfortable. Mauvaise idée d’avoir une salle de bain à l’extérieur de la chambre car on peut pas verrouiller les portes sinon on dérangerait les autres chambres car les serrures sont très bruyantes.
