We traveled as a family of three generations, and this rental was ideal for us: the bar-style kitchen made for great family breakfasts, Nogata is very walkable with lots of convenient shops and services, and the rental is only a 4 minute walk from the train station, from which you can get to almost anywhere in Tokyo. During our stay we also took taxis to Nakano Broadway and to the WB Studio tour of Harry Potter props and sets, and both taxi rides were very affordable! I really like the layout of the apartment, and how the bedrooms have roll-up curtains instead of doors. Travelers who need more privacy, who aren't as close to their travel-partners as family, might not like that, but for us it was ideal. The signage in the rental was very complete, in multiple languages, and included diagrams and visual instructions as well. Everything was neat, clean, and tidy, and very comfortable!

We did have a little trouble getting the cook-top to work. The trick seemed to be to push the on button and press up on the power cord at the same time -- it's possible it has a short and might need to be looked at. That said, every morning we did get it to come on and we did cook a yummy breakfast for five! :)

Die Lage ist super: nah am Bahnhof Nogata, ein paar Stationen mit der Seibu-Shinjuku-Linie, dann unkompliziert umsteigen in die Yamanote-Ringlinie. Das Viertel ist belebt, aber nicht touristisch. Es gibt alles in der Nähe: Konbinis, Restaurants, Münzwäscherei, Bäcker (direkt nebenan) und vieles mehr. Die Wohnung selber ist auch toll mit ausreichend Platz für 4 Personen. Cool eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Bequeme Betten.

Mehr Ablageflächen (Regale, Haken etc.) wären hilfreich, um alles besser sortieren zu können. Hinweis für Personen mit körperlichen Einschränkungen: die Treppe ist sehr steil.
