Koenji loft apartment/Shinjuku&Kichijoji/JR

Lovely location, lovely host that went above and beyond and lovely apartment would highly recommend!

Great location. Very friendly and helpful comms from the host. Perfect for my needs.

This little duplex is small but perfectly formed. Everything is in there, and it's all cleverly laid out to maximise the space available. The location is exceptional - just minutes from the bars, cafes and vintage shops of Koenji, while still being on a quiet street. The ladder to the sleeping area is fun to climb, and once you're up there, it feels very cosy. The beds are comfortable, and the apartment has an AC unit plus a heated floor. Overall, I had an excellent stay and would have extended my stay until the end of my holiday if the place had been available. If I return to Koenji in the future, I will seek out this place again.

The AC doesn't quite reach up to the sleeping area, so it can get a little hot at night. I'd have liked the option of a light sheet as an alternative to the heavy duvet for warmer weather. In the seating area the seats are quite hard, so there's nowhere really comfortable to sit except for the beds.

So cute! We loved this apartment so much - it’s tiny but has everything you need and we found the loft bed cosy and comfortable. Great location in a cool part of Tokyo. Super lovely and caring host.

Nothing!
