Great place - beautifully set up, clearly designed with guest comfort in mind

This rooftop apartment was truly exceptional. It literally had everything you could possibly need — from charging cables to slippers, drinks waiting in the fridge, and coffee and pasta thoughtfully stocked. You can tell the hosts put a lot of care into the details, which made the experience effortless and relaxing from the moment we arrived.

Modern, central and the perfect getaway

The location is very central, the views from the terrace are incredible and the apartment is extremely modern. The hosts have though of everything, there are drinks available in the fridge, there a mobile WiFi dongle you can take with you when out and about and a lot of information about what’s nearby for out of town visitors

The open plan apartment with a well equipped kitchen made this stay comfortable and convenient.

B&B loved the Exclusive Rooftop Duplex Penthouse in Basel.

Fast response with the host and clear directions to access the key and get into the apartment. Elevator was always available, but we took the stairs - only on the 5th floor. Kitchen was well stocked - a nice touch with honour bar - the Prosecco was perfect on the balcony when we arrived. Clean, comfortable, and close to all the fun stuff in Basel. If, and when we hit Basel again - we will stay here. Thank you.

Verry spacious and clean appartement in the old city center. Host was very helpful explaining everything. Self check inn went really smooth as well.

Exceeded expectations!

We stayed for 6 nights and were incredibly happy with this outstanding apartment! It's in an excellent location, close to everything in the old town with supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The kitchen included lots of cutlery/bowls and cooking utensils and basic supplies (pepper, salt, oil, herbs, spices etc) which made cooking at home relatively easy. The bathrooms include soap and there is a dryer and clothes washer with laundry powder. Several fans were available if it gets hot at night as opening windows can let in street noise (though we slept with the windows open and it was fine). The view from the balconies was great for breakfast in the morning and a drink in the evening!

It would be great to have a top sheet, rather than just a blanket - but this is a common request for Australians travelling in Europe!

Great views, gracious supplies, but only a 2 bedroom.

The views are awesome. The host was generous with food supplies and beverages available for purchase. Amble room to sit at the table. It was also nice to have information about local activities and ideas of things to do.

It was very very warm. A/c didn’t work well unless you were right by it. It was advertised as a 3 bedroom but it is actually 2 bedroom with an additional sleeping area off of the kitchen/living room. Could have been a bit cleaner.

Amazing, will definitely return!

The key pick-up and instructions were very simple and straight forward. You could already tell that the owner paid a lot of attention to details and allowing the guests to feel very welcomed. I highly highly recommend this place for its terrace. It is extremely rare to have such a space in the heart of Basel. We felt so spoiled!! After a long conference day, it is fantastic to settle down in the evening on the terrace. The drink options and kitchen were also fully stocked. We would definitely come back!

This apartment is beautiful and EXACTLY as depicted in the photos and description. Further, our host kept a stocked kitchen of snacks and drinks that you are welcome to as a guest. It was a lovely and wonderful surprise!

The directions to the apartment were a touch confusing as we arrived by car, so that made it challenging but our host was lovely and responsive and helped us navigate successfully.

Lage, Lage und wie Lage. Perfekt für unseren Weihnachtsmarkt-Trip. Nur 100 m vom Barfüsserplatz entfernt, an dem Markt beginnt und nur eine Querstraße von der Einkaufsmile entfernt. Selbst der Münsterplatz ist in fünf Minuten Fußweg erreicht. Super Verkehrsanbindung vom Flughafen kommend mit Bus und Straßenbahn. Dies dank BaselCard sogar inklusive. Perfekt - so macht ein Städtetrip so richtig Spaß.
