Hope to stay again.

Pleasant and helpful owners willing to speak French with those willing to make the attempt themselves, but English for practical purposes if needed. Breakfast with a home-made feel served personally in private courtyard. Solid ancient building with rooms full of art books. Location just at edge of centre of town (two minutes' walk away), and quiet. Parking in street also within two minutes' walk.

Beautiful building in a beautiful village. The apartment is tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Lots of attention to detail and we wanted for nothing. But best of all, the owners of the property are its most precious asset; we received a warm welcome, were well cared for, and it felt as though we were staying with old friends. AND the breakfast is delicious and plentiful.

A BnB that welcomes you like family

As a solo female traveler, sometimes trips can be lonely. But at La Maison Joly I was treated like family immediately, this was very special for me. The home feels historic and original (while also being comfortable) and makes guests feel like they are really experiencing what life was (and still is) like in provincial France.

A perfect stay right in the center of Menerbes.

An old stonehouse right in the center of Menerbes which has been transformed by Severine and Vincent (picture) into a fine place of warm hospitality. Spacious and clean rooms, good beds, excellent breakfast. A perfect stay!

A magical and authentic stay at Maison Joly in Ménerbes

Staying in the historic house inherited by Vincent felt like stepping into a fairy tale. Surrounded by art, books, and the quiet beauty of Provence, we were immersed in a world shaped by generations. Severine and Vincent were kind, attentive, and welcoming. At our small suggestion, they even added an iron to the room to improve our comfort—an example of their care and thoughtfulness. Of course, staying in a home with such history can come with small inconveniences, but if you arrive with an open heart, the experience becomes truly delightful. It’s authentic, rich in character, and offers a rare glimpse into the preservation of a meaningful family legacy. For a few days, we were grateful to be part of that story.

Authentic, historic and bursting with charm.

Located in the most beautiful village in France. This authentic, historic and warm home is home wonderful. We travelled as a family of 3 generation’s (grandparents, parents and 2x toddlers 2 and 3). Booking both rooms we had the whole place to ourselves with Vincent and Sabine. The breakfast was possibly the best breakfast ever.

Nothing. It’s authentic. If you want to feel like you’re staying in a true home in Menerbes this is it. If you want clean lines and don’t appreciate beautiful interiors go elsewhere!

Large, comfortable room in 200 year old house. Authentic atmosphere. Situated conveniently in village centre. Easy to walk to all major historical sites.. Anazing breakfast with many housemade products included. Both hiots very friendly and attentive. Will return every time we are in the area.

Es war äußerst charmant

Es war eine sehr persönliche Unterkunft direkt beim Vermieterpaar im Haus. Es ist eine alte mit Charme behaftete Unterkunft mit einer persönlichen Note. Das Bad ist sehr groß könnte aber durchaus etwas sauberer und moderner sein. Am Besten war das sehr persönliche und hervorragende Frühstück im Wohnzimmer der Vermieter inklusive Katze vor dem Kamin☺️ alles in allem eine charmante Unterkunft

L’accueil et la gentillesse de Severine et Vincent. La maison ancienne est pleine de charme, au coeur du village. La chambre etait un appartement tres cosy et confortable. La struttura è situata a Menerbes, un piccolo e carino borgo della Provenza, Camera ampia e confortevole in casa signorile e rustica molto antica. Colazione ottima e abbondante sia con prodotti locali che altri preparati al momento. Vincent e Severine sono persone molto gentili e accoglienti. Consigliatissima

Nous avons apprécié la qualité de l'accueil , la grande disponibilité et la gentillesse des propriétaires; le petit déjeuner copieux, complet et équilibré. Dans l'impossibilité de trouver un taxi un dimanche , un proche du gérant nous a ramené à domicile. Nous recommandons fortement cette adresse de plus située dans un cadre exceptionnel.

Sehr zuvorkommende und freundliche Gastgeber, die uns höflich gefragt haben, ob wir lieber in Französisch oder Englisch kommunizieren möchten. Das Haus hat diesen besonderen Charme eines alten, historischen Stadthauses. Wir lieben es. Das Frühstück war perfekt, Orangensaft, Rührei wurden frisch zubereitet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Una estancia muy agradable.

Un privilegio habitar una casa con historia. Es del S.XVIII y se ve. Las paredes de piedra, las puertas de madera con cerraduras arcaicas. Pero todo está limpio, pintado y muy confortable. Los propietarios son un matrimonio muy agradable y proporcionan un desayuno buenísimo. Toda la casa está llena de libros de todas clases. Una estancia super agradable. Un lugar muy tranquilo, pudimos dormir con la ventana abierta sin ningún ruido y una vista excepcional. Además muy cerca , casi al lado, hay un restaurante excelente: Les Saveurs Gourmandes.

Es una casa sin jardín y por tanto no hay piscina, pero eso ya se sabe antes. Tampoco hay aparcamiento. Hay que dejar las maletas al lado e ir a aparcar el coche en la calle. Nosotros pudimos aparcar cerca, no se como será en temporada alta.
