Lovely building in a lovely hilltop town with an amazing bakery practically across the street. Very quiet neighborhood and easy access to the free parking lot. Large, modern fully equipped kitchen, lots of seating area in the living room and comfortable bed with great shower in the ensuite. Daniele was very helpful and responsive to enquiries. We would definitely return.

Daniele's place in Menerbes was the most perfect place to spend a few months while I did a semester abroad. They house is well equipped with everything you need. The bed is quite comfortable for long stays and Daniele is incredibly kind and responsive. Menerbes is a beautiful town full of lovely people. We loved every minute of our stay and will be back!

We loved our stay in Danielle’s beautiful and well equipped apartment. It is extremely comfortable and very well located in a quiet street with a good restaurant and galleries next door and a boulangerie across the road. All the sights, shops, cafes and viewpoints of the village are in very easy walking distance. There is even a twelfth century chapel just down the street. Danielle is exceptionally helpful and concerned about her guests’ well-being and comfort. She is very friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend this great appartment.

I love this little apartment right in the core of Menerbes. I was there two months mostly to write and bike, and absorb Provençal life. I was able to do all that and more! And Danièle could not be a more gracious host. Merci mille fois!

The property is very clean, roomy and makes you feel like you are home. There are some stairs but they are not an issue to us. The location could not be any better.for getting to cafes and other villages in the Luberon. We will definitely contact this VRBO and the host is available in person, by phone and email if you have questions. A very memorable and enjoyable stay.

A lovely modernised apartment close to all amenities in Menerbes . A well furnished sitting area plus another room with a library and desk which had a single bed in use as a sofa and a really well equipped kitchen with basic provisions such as salt, pepper, oils, tea and coffee etc. The bed was comfortable with beautiful linen and the bathroom a decent size. Our hostess popped round just after we arrived with a bottle of the local rosé and had supplied an extra fan which we definitely needed due to the heatwave! The apartment was due to have air conditioning installed before we arrived but the plumber developed COVID so that didn’t happen but when it does will definitely make a difference. A couple of lovely restaurants yards away, a boulangerie a stone’s throw away and a Michelin star restaurant next door with free parking just down the road makes this is an ideal spot to explore Provence and the Luberon. A 5* rating with a delightful host. Merci beaucoup.

Daniele’s apartment is large, open, very clean and beautifully renovated, and has everything you could want and more. I stayed for six nights and kept saying to myself, “I want to live here!” Daniele is an excellent host, extremely welcoming, helpful and responsive. The location is excellent—in the heart of the Ménerbes which is a beautiful village and a convenient base for exploring the Luberon.

We very much enjoyed this Menerbes apartment--the apartment was very comfortable, and had more than enough room for us. We slept incredibly well in the bed and the kitchen was very up-to-date and clean. It had all the appliances you would need, and even a washer-dryer. Menerbes is a beautiful little town and there's a wonderful restaurant next door. Daniele was easy to communicate with (even though my French is tres mal) and checked in to make sure we had everything. We recommend this highly.

Truly great place to stay in a beautiful town. Menerbes is the perfect base for exploring the Luberon. We stayed 6 days and wished for more. Super clean, spacious, well equipped with a very comfortable bed. There is no AC but we were very comfortable in weather that ranged from the mid 50’s to the mid 80’s Fahrenheit.

This was my second stay in this Apartment....do I need to say say more? First time three years ago in 2017, and I can only briefly repeat what I wrote then. Stayed beginning of March for one week, and it was great. The apartment was just as beautiful and immaculate as I had remembered. Fully equipped with everything you might need. Check-in and check-out was easy, and communication with Daniele was swift and without any problems. She is a really nice and friendly person, and a very good host. I can recommend this apartment 100%.

We stayed for 1 week in Menerbes, a short drive (40 km) from Avignon. The apartment was as described on the website. It is spacious with 1 bedroom and a small room with single bed just off the living room-kitchen area. All necessary amenities were on hand (utensils etc). There isa large fridge and a cook top, dishwasher. Shower area is large. The apartment, despite being located in an old building, is very modern. A nearby grocery store is minimalist. A small shop very close to the apartment is good for brand, pastries, wine and beer. A better grocery store (Aldi) is located about 10 km away in Coustellet. It is on the main road (D900). Overall we recommend the apartment highly. A and S Oct 2019

A fabulous, well executed renovation maintaining the spirit of the original building. Well thought out and executed. A wonderful cook's kitchen, fully equipped with any implement you could need. A hot, commodious shower and a bed you don't want to get out of. Beautifully locate din the centre of this glorious village only seconds away from restaurants, cafes, 2 bakeries and 2 general stores with anything you could need for a week's stay. The restaurant next door, Les Savours Gourmandes is a revelation, and the nearby 1 star Michelin, La Feniere is well worth the drive. The neighbouring perched villages are all worth visits with the standout being Lacoste, where Marquis De Sade lived in the castle now owned by Pierre Cardin.

We had such a fantastic stay in this ultra-stylish apartment in Ménerbes. The kitchen is so well stocked, and amenities included a toaster, 2 blenders and 2 coffee makers! We had access to a collection of jazz and classical music CDs that really set the tone for our stay. However, the most wonderful part was Daniele’s Hospitality! We needed to get a package sent to Provence, and Daniele made sure we got the package. Even when there was problems with delivery, Daniele waited all day to make sure our package arrived safely. Merci, Daniele! We want to make another booking to Provence so we can stay at this apartment again!

This was our first experience renting with VRBO and we could not have been happier with this apartment. It is well renovated and well equipped and the location is great for exploring the valley. Shortly after we arrived, Danielle came to welcome us personally and to answer questions. She also provided us with some fresh breakfast items. The flat is well equipped for self catering and there is a restaurant immediately next door if you wish to have a night off. A lovely, well-appointed appartment right in the heart of Menerbes.

The small and comfortable apartment is situated right in the heart of the little town of Menerbes,with everything you could possibly need for a holiday. Although there is no air conditioning, the thick stone walls help to keep the rooms cool and there is also a large portable fan which we found extremely useful. There is no parking allocated to the appartment but we usually managed to park further down the street. Daniele, the owner, is extremely friendly and helpful. She visited us when we arrived, with a bottle of wine to welcome us, and answered any questions which we had as well as recommending a few places based on our interests. There is an excellent restaurant next door which we booked for our first evening and our last. We would highly recommend it.

Danielle was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. We LOVED her beautiful Apt, great location - luxury linens on the bed, the kitchen was very well stocked, books, DVD's and CD's in the lounge room. She was kind and communicative. The only thing we would suggest is to perhaps have a long mirror - otherwise, everything was perfect. We hope we can return and stay here again. She was a great host, merci Danielle!

We spent the entirety of our 3-week summer holiday in this wonderful, well-furnished and renovated apartment located in the heart of Menerbes, a cozy village that has spectacular views of the surrounding countryside, wide-ranging vineyards and the Luberon mountain range. The location is excellent as a base for sightseeing and long hikes through nature. The kitchen is well-equipped, and we cooked and ate most of our meals at the apartment. A couple nearby bakeries offer fresh daily pastries for breakfast, and there are restaurants if you prefer to eat out. The owner Daniele (who lives nearby) was very friendly and helpful, and made sure our stay was seamless and comfortable. Highly recommended if you're looking for a relaxing getaway.

We spent 2 weeks in this wonderful home and were very comfortable. The house is very nicely furnished with two different sitting areas, a comfortable bed, nice shower and great kitchen. Just a few steps away, you'll find a bakery and next door and around the corner are several restaurants (La Veranda was our favorite). There's also a pharmacy and grocery very close by. Daniele, the owner, came to meet us, gave us a very warm welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. She was very kind and answered all our questions. Menerbes was a great base for the Luberon. There are many villages to explore and fantastic markets every day of the week. The food was incredible and there are so many good restaurants in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Menerbes and in this comfortable home! Merci, Daniele, for your warm hospitality!

This is a very tastefully furnished, comfortable and spacious apartment in the heart of Menerbes, one of the Les Beaux Villages of France. For anyone wanting to cook while vacationing, it is one of best equipped kitchens we have found and we have rented many apartments on VRBO. Daniele was extremely helpful and made herself available for any questions by both phone and e-mail. At the time of our visit, late March, the village was happily still sleepy and just beginning to stretch into "tourist" season. We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to spend time in the Luberon Valley. One thing to note is that there is a winding staircase up to the living area of the apartment and a reasonable staircase up to the entrance to the apartment, so anyone who has any difficulty with managing steps with luggage or groceries etc. might find this arrangement uncomfortable. That being said the description of the apartment does say it is not handicap accessible, it just doesn't make a point of the number of steps.

We loved our two weeks in Danielle's apartment. It was a perfect location for exploring the wonderful small villages in the area. We stayed during the last half of September so Menerbes was quiet--especially after sunset. The kitchen is beautiful and well-stocked with any equipment you might need for cooking, but the amazing aromas wafting in the window from the adjacent restaurant make you want to eat out. There are two bakeries in town--one just a few doors down the road. The living areas have very comfortable furniture and the library was filled with floor to ceiling books, including a variety of children's books. The bed was firm (not hard) and made with real linen sheets. So soft. The toilet is in a closet with the washing machine, not in the sink and shower area off the bedroom. The layout is a bit awkward as the lighting is low and there is no sink for hand washing. This minor issue would never keep me from staying in this lovely apartment again if we were to return to southern France. This was a perfect place for the many day trips we took as well as for for those times when we just wanted a break to relax. Danielle even has a cart stocked with brochures of everything available in the area. She is the perfect hostess--she even stocked the refigerator with a bottle of local wine and left some snacks to accompany the wine.

We enjoyed a relaxing 10 days in this lovely apartment, right in the centre of our favourite, and prettiest, of the Lumeron hilltop villages. Danielle Cohen, the owner, is incredibly helpful and attentive, and the apartment is immaculate and extremely well maintained and equipped for a self catering holiday. The village has all the facilities one needs for supplies and services and is not more than a few miinutes drive from the useful small supermarket "Super-U" at the village of Coustellet on the D900. Menerbes proved to be extremely quiet and peaceful and ideally situated for exploring the region. If one feels like a bit of a drive, one can reach the pretty coastal village of Cassis, which is well worth a visit, in about an hour and half. The lovely little restaurant right next door to the apartment, "les Saveurs Gourmandes" should not be missed if you can obtain a booking. It serves superb local and traditional food and an evening meal here was one of the highlights of our stay! All highly recommended if you wish to enjoy the best of this lovely part of France !

We were quite happy with the lovely apartment provided to us by Daniele. The apartment is very well appointed, comfortable and in a very accessible location in one of the lovely Luberon towns. Menerbes has a wonderful Thursday market, some very close excellent restaurants, such as Les Saveurs Gourmandes and a really fantastic nearby patisserie run by the Auzet family. Great location for walking and exploring Menerbes and by car the close by Luberon towns, such as Le Bonnieux, & the medieval town of Le Baux. We stayed in this beautifully presented apartment for a week in late May to early June 2014. I am sorry, now, that it wasn't for 2 weeks. The apartment as described on-line is accurate and the directions we were given to finding it, without the immediate presence of the owner, were precise and also accurate. Contact with the owner both before and during our stay was always available and she made herself readily available to assist with any questions or problems. Having met the owner I can only describe her as a charming and accommodating person who has the best interests of her tenants in mind. In many years of renting self catering apartments/houses in many parts of the world this was the best ever. This has been judged from the point of view of value for Euros spent and the ease of the booking and arrival experience. The owner presents this stylish apartment beautifully and all appliances, fittings and furnishings are of excellent quality. Everything about this apartment worked beautifully for two people and I can recommend it to you without any hesitation. Menerbes is a charming village and the Luberon is a wonderful place to be in early summer (late May to early June) before the hordes of tourists arrive. Access from all the major centres in Provence is easy and if you are a patient and careful driver getting around the area is a breeze. A motor vehicle is a must if you are going to spend time in the Luberon and exploring the wider area. we have just returned home after staying 10 days in this most wonderful apartment in the charming village of Menerbes, the apartment is in the perfect location to explore this very special place. The photos on home away web site do not do the apartment justice it is even more stunningly gorgeous than you can imagine. It is very spacious, spotlessly clean with stylish décor, contemporary but with beautiful character features and there is every modern appliance you could possibly need. Daniele greeted us with a warm and friendly welcome and was extremely helpful. Menerbes is a very magical place to make cherished memories with magnificent views and fine dining in the village restaurants and this apartment is a real gem we would certainly recommend it and will definitely return next year. We spent a beautiful week with our little babyboy in Menerbes. The house is very charming, well equipped and comfortable for a couple. Also little children can find their amusement and well being here, with plenty of children books to read, and their own space to use. Daniele let us find also items to welcome our little one, such as dishes, cuttlery, and a changing mat. The village itself is simply amazing, really what you can imagine that Provence should be. We did a lot of tours and could decide each day for a different place to visit, or simply relax! I already countdown the time to the next visit!

We travel frequently to Provence, but never appreciated Menerbes enough till we stayed in this apartment. It is in the perfect location to meander all the quaint quarters of this very charming village. The apartment itself is very nicely decorated and has all the amenities anyone could want, even for an extended stay. Mlle. Cohen is charming and most helpful in every way imagineable.
