The location was perfect! The apartment was very clean. Close to attractions & restaurants.

The steps only because you spend your day doing a lot of walking. But most places don’t have elevators anyway.

The host was very communicative and helpful with the check in process. The apartment is in a great location, and if you stick your head out of the window you can see a small bit of the colosseum. There are lots of great restaurants and gelato nearby. It’s a good size for 1-2 people as it’s only a studio. The unit has has a fridge, microwave, bowls/plates, cutlery, etc which is all nice if you want to prepare meals or store/reheat leftovers. There was also shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc for me to use which was nice.

Although I enjoyed the apartment, I have a few notes. The entry to the building is very small and the stairs are narrow, there is 1 flight of stairs you need to take before accessing the apartment. I personally found it difficult to unlock and open/close the door due to its age and weight. The air conditioning runs good, but unfortunately the curtains completely cover it when shut, so before you go to sleep you have to decide between having a completely dark room at night with no air flow or have the light come in through the window and consistent airflow (if that makes sense). The shower is only a handheld shower attachment which worked great, but there’s no shower head above you. Also there is limited hot water, after I finished washing my hair it started running cold so keep that in mind. Lastly, I do think there could be a fresh set of sheets and towels for the price. The fitted sheet barely covered/fit the mattress so I found myself readjusting it multiple times before bed so it would stay in place which was annoying. There is also a faint sweat smell in the sheets and towels from prior guests so I do think they should be washed more thoroughly or replaced all together.

The owner is responsive even tho could be more accurate with the information

I tried to ask for a change as I really could not go there for a visa issue but they refuse the change and they say that they sold the apartment and by the end of the week they would be the owner anymore. If so this comment will not bother them otherwise the made up a bad excuse
