I liked the location, very much central in downtown Montalcino.
It wasn't very clear that the apartment has specific rooms (similar to hotel) with common areas/shared amenities like kitchen tables etc. We were only here one night but it wasn't a problem.

An historical residence, in a great location. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the kitchen was well equiped and also spacious, even though it was a shared space. Our host was very welcoming and attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed.
Maybe an electric kettle & toaster would help make the kitchen more practical when it's busy. Light sleeping guests staying in the rooms on the street may need ear plugs, as it can be noisy from early morning.
