Westood Retreat Residences

The accommodation was very clean and well maintained. The complex was quiet and peaceful, which made it perfect for relaxing. The apartment was fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We were very satisfied and would definitely recommend it.

Everything was new and clean and worked very well. The apartment was really spacious, the layout worked very well with the two bedrooms, two bathrooms and the other indoor areas (open plan kitchen /dining./living). The outside area was very large and had plenty of chairs and a table. It was luxurious to have a washing machine, dishwasher and a big TV as well. The wifi worked really well too. The pool looked lovely, though we didn't use it, as we thought it would be unheated. We were a quiet group and we heard no noise from neighbours at all which was excellent. There was aircon as well, but we didnt use it. Good, responsive, friendly communications with the owners as well, and slight problem gaining entry to the private car park was sorted out very quickly.

For some reason, there were quite a lot of flies in the morning on the terrace. More than we have found in other apartments. The fly screen on the living room door was really welcome for that reason. There were none in the evening however so we sat outside more in the evening. The apartment is under the flight path, so there were frequent and quite close noisy planes going overhead. We only heard them when outside, it wasn't any problem when we were inside. And it meant a short trip to and from the airport at the start and end of the holiday of course. These two slight negatives were more than offset by all the positives noted above!

Het was een heel modern appartement, zeer netjes allemaal, veel ruimte (kasten) om alles weg te bergen. We hadden ook een terras waar we buiten konden eten. Alles was aanwezig wat beschreven stond. We werden verwelkomd met een flesje wijn. In de buurt was een supermarkt, strand op 25 minuten stappen.

Er vliegen net wat vliegtuigen over, overdag kan dat een beetje geluidshinder geven, maar wij waren vaak op stap en hebben er ons niet aan gestoord. 's nachts hadden we er totaal geen last van. Ik ben normaal een slechte slaper maar heb hier heel goed geslapen.

A nice , well-equipped apartment in a quiet neighborhood. Parking is easy to find nearby, and several restaurants and shops are within walking distance. The spacious terrace and access to the swimming pool are great additions. The bedrooms are very quiet, and with the blinds down, they stay completely dark—perfect for a restful sleep.
