Built during the Roaring Twenties, the home carries a fascinating connection to the infamous Al Capone. Its elaborate woodwork, sourced from two mansions in Chicago's Gold Coast, was meticulously retrofitted to enhance the home’s unique character. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

This house is gorgeous. Some of the best stargazing we have had in years. We also had a bald eagle rest in a tree just south of the property. You rent this property for the views. With that said it had its issues. The WiFi, the leaking air conditioner and the bed frame breaking in the wee hours of the night. I wish it was as perfect as the view. Would we rest this house again? I think we would.

Great stay, Good place. Communication was prompt but at times felt like I was communicating with AI and it did not properly understand what I was asking/did not answer my questions. This made some of the communications frustrating.

We absolutely loved the place. The backyard was beautiful, the views were beautiful and the house was beautiful. There was a private beach, which was nice to have. The host was also very responsive. It was exactly what we were looking for and I would stay again.
