On the right bank of Paris, in the heights of the city, a little out of the crowds, the 18th arrondissement is a vast, authentic district full of charm, with, in places, a genuine village atmosphere. One of the most charming districts of Paris, Montmartre is the unmissable district of the 18th arrondissement. Start your visit with the Place des Abbesses, which stands in the middle of a magnificent children's carousel. Take a stroll in the Jehan Rictus square, where you will find the Wall of I Love You, a work that compiles hundreds of "I Love You" written in 300 languages and dialects. As you climb the hill of Montmartre, admire the famous Moulin de la Galette, the Place du Tertre, a landmark of Parisian artists, but also all the cobbled streets, pretty houses and small hidden green spaces that make up the charm of Montmartre. Finally, head towards the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, which has its dome and mosaic, the largest in France, to enjoy one of the best panoramas of Paris.
