About this cottage rental
Located less than a mile from Harpers Ferry's historic sites and the National Historical Park, Casita Azul is your ideal home base for exploring the entire area. Hikers and bikers love the proximity to the Appalachian Trail and the C&O Canal towpath. It's also just steps from great restaurants, bakery, and nightlife.
Bringing your dog? They'll love the huge yard with a full privacy fence that's also perfect and for family activities.
The cottage feels amazingly spacious with 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths in 800 sq. ft. of bright and airy living space The ground level is an open floor plan featuring a fully-equipped kitchen with quartz counter tops, living room with queen sleeper sofa, dining area, and full bathroom.
The upper level has two bedrooms and a full bathroom. One bedroom has a king-size bed and the other has two twin beds and a third pullout trundle bed, well-equipped kitchen
Other features include:
• Central heat and a/c
• Fast WiFi internet
• Covered patio with grill and table/chairs
• Large smart TV
PLEASE NOTE: There is a narrow and steep spiral staircase leading to the upper level. Carefully consider whether this could be a problem for young children or those with limited mobility

Perfect location! We love to walk everywhere we can and explore and from the house you can get to lower town Harpers Ferry and all the little restaurants, bakeries, and coffee shops along the way. The recommendations provided were all great and Snallygasters across the street, Rabbit Hole, Bolivar Bread Bakery, and Epigram Coffee (don’t forget the pastries) were all amazing. Harpers Ferry is just an overall friendly town and even more pet friendly everywhere!! House was all we needed for a nice home base for exploring and relaxing after a day of hiking until you can’t hike anymore.

We had a great stay at this little house! It was exactly as described in the listing, the spiral staircase is incredibly narrow and steep. I found it difficult to navigate but it was not a surprise since it was clearly stated. The location is great and we were able to walk to breakfast, lunch and dinner. Consider the staircase but other than that I’d definitely recommend!

Beautiful cottage with a huge backyard (perfect for letting our pups chill and run), very well appointed house and yard with everything you need. Well within walking distance of not only historic Harper’s Ferry but lots of good restaurants and shops, we only used our car to drive to Antietam. Our hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful and it’s clear that a lot of care is put into this welcoming cottage. We will definitely be back!
