About this cottage rental
Waverly Cottage is an elegant 1840s Victorian with its own delightful history -- right in the heart of Historic Downtown! The perfect location for your Harpers Ferry stay.
The highlights:
- Walk just steps to all of the highlights in Harpers Ferry (we’re surrounded by the National Park!)
- Relax with a glass of wine on the private front or back porches
- Curl up with a book in the sunny sitting room
- Stream movies or take video calls on the fastest WiFi you can get

The Space:
Our cozy retreat has all the comforts of home, nestled right in the center of Historic Harpers Ferry. Waverly Cottage is ideal for couples, families, or small groups of friends -- and is the perfect home base for your getaway!
The cottage includes:
- 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with two twin beds
- 1 full bathroom and the second one is a half bath.
- Two additional pull-out beds, one in the living room (queen) and the other in the sitting room (twin)
- Cute front porch with a bench -- perfect for people watching :)
- Large elevated back porch with two comfy chairs and a bench to relax with a glass of wine
- Fully-stocked kitchen with a stove/oven and microwave
- Central AC and heat to keep you comfortable
- SmartTV with access to all your favorite streaming services
- Fast, reliable WiFi that’s more than enough to stream movies and hold video calls
We often take our two little kids to the cottage, so we're very family-friendly. Unfortunately, we don't allow any dogs or cats in the cottage.
One of the best aspects of Waverly Cottage is the location. We’re surrounded by the boundaries of the National Park (it’s across the street) and literally steps from all of the major sites in Harpers Ferry (less ¼ mile from John Brown’s Fort). We’re also just a short 5 minute walk from the Appalachian Trail.
Beyond Historic Harpers Ferry, we love how close to everything we are! Fantastic hiking trails, kayaking and tubing on the Shenandoah and Potomac Rivers, and dozens of amazing little shops, restaurants, and wineries -- all within a 20 minute drive.
We only have 1 parking pass available for now. We hope to have a 2nd parking pass available soon. If you need more than 1, please ask us about it.
