About this cabin rental
Perfect location for a family or friends getaway with two cabins! This listing includes both of our 750 and 800 square foot cabins with boat dock and lake access, firepits with wood provided and grills. Private and fun space to enjoy time together. The property is surrounded by acres of public land for exploring and watching wildlife, making it the perfect getaway for spring, summer or fall season. We have all the amenities you need to ensure a perfect vacation!
Foxtail Cabin (shown first) sleeps 6 with a queen bed and 3 twin beds along with sofa. Bear Claw Cabin (shown second) sleeps 4 with a king bed and 2 twin beds. To maintain the integrity of the Bear Claw cabin, the bathroom is 10 feet away but is fully modern with shower, toilet, sink and air conditioning. It is a private bathroom. Both cabins have full kitchens, grills, firepits with wood provided, chairs and household necessities.
Dogs and cats are welcome with the payment of the pet fee. Limit 2 pets.
Located between Hackensack and Longville, both small towns with bait shops, grocery stores, local shops and restaurants. The Woman Lake chain boasts clear water and large variety of options for a lake vacation. Fish varieties include panfish, walleye, bass, northern pike and crappies. We can set you up with a local fishing guide if desired.
Spring/Summer/Fall activities:
• Take in the fall foliage during the Leech Lake Fall Color Drive or visit Itasca State Park and climb the observation tower for breathtaking views
• Explore local hiking and biking trails like Heartland Trail, the North Country National Scenic Trail and Paul Bunyan State Trail
• Make Foxtail Cabin your base camp for local hunting and fishing excursions
• Hit the water with private dock access for your boat, as well as two kayaks & paddle board available for use
• Enjoy great fishing off the dock for kids that won’t disappoint
• Bring kids’ bikes and scooters and ride the paved road around the property
• Play sun up to sun down with access to jungle gym and volleyball net as well as corn hole, ladder ball, bocce ball and other yard games

We rented both the cabins for our family and this property exceeded any expectations we had of “a cabin” stay! The cabins were exceptionally clean, well equipped with kitchen gadgets. Anything you could want or need for inside or outside they had! What a beautiful, peaceful property they have! A short drive to town. Kip and Leon were quick with communication and very helpful hosts. It was a great stay for us and our dogs. We can’t say enough great things about our time here! Thank you so much!

I celebrated my bachelorette at this beautiful cabin. And all 8 of us girls had a BLAST here. The fireplace is a 10 out of 10, so relaxing! We played the variety of yard games that was awesome. We went and floated out on the lake, pretty weedy but we made the most of that! The hosts were so kind. We had a little problem and messaged the host and they came over so quick!! It was such a fun weekend. Thank you!!

Kip was super friendly very welcoming. The cabins are beautiful. Good fishing on the lake. Let us use the paddle board and kayaks.
