Dream Station

This is an ensuite room with a shared kitchen. We self checked in. Convenient. Immediately across the street from Rome Termini, yet quiet. A very diverse population w ethnic restaurants. Given a unique code to all doors. Elevator up, 4th floor. Simple ,brightly painted large room with nice small bathroom. Black out shutters + curtains. Comfortable beds. A comfortable shared kitchen well supplied with basic condiments, microwave, fridge, stove/oven. Reliable archaic PC available with printer. Everyone who worked here was responsive. Wifi went down (workers in bldg) at 8pm someone to fix in less than 20 minutes. Laundry done for 6 euros. Cavour, Nazionale, within 5 minute walk. Most buses begin or end at Termini. Metro station less than 5 minutes when you want to go to Piazza del Popolo, Trastevere and Vatican. Not fancy. Busy neighborhood I felt safe in. But I am NYC. Not a beautiful neighborhood; but EVERYTHING you could possibly want within minutes with helpful, supportive employees. The convenience for maneuvering a major city with ease would be hard to beat, especially at this price point.

The room was very clean and inviting. The staff were very friendly and communicative. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the place is very well located. A true gem, highly recommended.

We were in Rome for one week and had a wonderful stay at Dream Station in the Blue Room. Our room was very clean and my kids and I loved that it was right next to the kitchen so that we could easily make tea, espresso, and refill our water bottles. Visiting in March, it became chilly at night so the extra comforters were appreciated for a cozy rest. There is also a heater we didn’t use. We were advised by our initial shuttle driver to return to our room by 8 PM, which we did, and there were still many people out at this time. (Of course when traveling, I always pray for divine protection & angelic help)! Once inside the location (large locked wooden door), it felt very secure as there are 2 additional gates to go through. Dream Station is on the 4th floor and there is a small lift, but we opted to take the stairs the majority of the time. While in Rome, we only took a taxi once to get to the Vatican. We walked everywhere else, which was fantastic! Staying in the city center is ideal, and Dream Station was one of the most economical options with highest ratings. Rome is truly a gorgeous, eternal city, and I am so grateful to have spent our time there during Spring Break. Having Termini station right across the street was convenient as well, and we took the train to Naples to see Pompeii. One thing to remember is that the city tax is 6 Euros per day, per person, paid only in cash. I initially forgot this was in the booking paperwork & had to make an extra stop at an ATM.
