Authentisch und absolut freundlich. Wir haben abends ein sehr leckeres Essen gekocht bekommen. Es ist sauber und etwas komplett anderes. Man sollte sich bewusst sein, das es kein hotel ist und man mit der Familie wohnt.

Accueil authentique et hors du temps dans un lieu magique. Les hôtes sont absolument adorables et très communicatifs malgré la barrière de la langue. La vue est exceptionnelle. Le dîner et le petit déjeuner étaient délicieux et évidemment pantagruéliques. On dort dans une chambre immense, avec un salon attenant pour nous et on prend les repas sur la terrasse.
Rien : c'est tout à fait rustique, avec la salle de bains extérieure, mais c'est ce qui fait son charme.

The hospitality of the host family was wonderful. They were welcoming and warm. We ordered dinner and enjoyed the variety of salads and food that was laid out for us - it was authentic home-cooked food even if the grilled chicken was over-done. Accommodation was basic but enjoyable in a rustic way. Loved the wood buring fireplace. Great location in that it's walkable to Haghpat Monastery. Beautiful, quiet + serene view from the terrace.
No curtains provided so we woke up with the light. Bathroom was not ensuite so you'll have to leave the main building to access the bathroom (about 3 metres away). Floor is not tiled so you'll need footwear.
