Akre Villas

We spent 12 wonderful days at Akre Villa in September – and there’s no doubt we’ll be back! The villa is brand new (just one year in use), beautifully designed, stylishly furnished, and perfect for up to four guests. It comes fully equipped with everything you might need – kitchen, washing machine, wine fridge, and Nespresso machine – and it was spotlessly clean. The Wi-Fi worked flawlessly both indoors and out, which was a big plus. The huge terrace with plenty of comfy seating and sun loungers, plus the outdoor kitchen, shower, and barbecue next to the large pool, gave us breathtaking views of the sea. There’s also a smaller terrace upstairs – the perfect spot for a private moment and stunning sunsets. A very special thank you goes to the owners, Vicky and Giorgos, who live in the lowest of the three villas. Their warmth, kindness, and thoughtful little surprises made us feel incredibly welcome. In both directions, you’ll find a variety of beaches, bays, tavernas, and restaurants – there’s truly something for every taste, all just a short drive away. The lively town of Ierapetra is only five minutes by car and has it all: a seafront promenade, shops, supermarkets, restaurants, and even a weekly market. We truly fell in love with southeastern Crete and can’t wait for our next visit!

Der gesamte Stil der Unterkunft und auch der Außenbereich waren traumhaft. Die Inneneinrichtung ist stilvoll und auch funktional. Es gibt genug Stauraum. Der gesamte Innenbereich ist klimatisiert. In der Küche findet sich alles, was man für den Aufenthalt braucht. Die Besitzerin (Vicky) hat uns auch einen Willkommenskorb mit Öl, Honig, etc. hingestellt! Kaffeetabs waren auch ausreichend vorhanden. Der Griller im Außenbereich funktioniert auch super. Die Handtücher wurden alle drei Tage gewechselt und dabei wurde auch das gesamte Haus geputzt. Es gibt nichts auszusetzen, der Aufenthalt war großartig und die Kommunikation mit der Besitzerin hat bestens funktioniert. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!
