Brand New 1BR Downtown - Next to Dubai Mall

The location was perfect, right in the centre of downtown Dubai. Had an amazing view of the Burj Khalifa, apartment was a decent size

The window was broken in the bedroom so we couldn’t shut it, ac didn’t work in the bedroom, zero customer service skills from “Janet”, when we arrived at 1am, one couldn’t find car parking space “80” ( was covered in blue plastic on the floor??) then the walls were covered in black marks, then the bed sheet was stained but couldn’t get ahold of anyone until the morning, sent a photo to Janet and she called us liars!! Then tried to charge us for the cleaning of the bedsheet (sheet was stained before we arrived, didn’t pay) door doesn’t lock, have to put a code in each time and it doesn’t work so our flat was always open, again they weren’t helpful about that, told us we were doing it wrong, had to get maintenance to come and fix the water as it was not heating up, big hole on bathroom ceiling, cooker was broken, told Janet and took 2 days of us constantly pushing for her to get maintenance to have a look at it (they got three out of four hobs working but the oven park kept going out, kitchen functionality isn’t the best. - [ ] Caught a glimpse of the neighbouring property also owned by this company and its 100x better than this one! They had better decoration, comfortable chairs in the kitchen and more colourful, cushions for the sofa, blankets on the sofa for the sofa bed, we had no decor, hard white chairs in the kitchen, no blankets or cushions for the sofa bed, also can hold up to 4 people in the property but only gives you 2 plates? And need to add washing liquids and laundry detergent as when you are a tourist it’s not ideal having to buy them as-well and then try and fit them in your suitcase. Very basic apartment, only reason it’s priced higher is location.
