Whole House Modern Two Bedroom in Newcastle - Free Parking

Lovely little house, I stayed for a few weeks waiting for my house to complete. Really responsive flexible hosts, super clean and very comfy beds

Small thing - but blinds/curtains in lounge french doors would be great

Das Haus und die Gastgeber waren einmalig toll! Alle waren überrascht dass es so günstig ist. Wir durften ausnahmsweise früher einchecken, weil wir zwischen Ankunft und Check-In sonst 3 Stunden gehabt hätten. Das war super nett! Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Das einzige ,,negative“ war, dass das Schlafsofa eine ziemliche Kante genau unter dem Rücken hat.

Clean and tidy. Well equipped kitchen. Warm and comfy beds.

Slightly noisy neighbours- not very soundproofed walls - but this is not the owners fault in any way. No keys to lock the back kitchen door and no keys to unlock the patio doors- we didn’t need these but wondered if it would be a fire hazard.

Communication with the owner was great. The location was brilliant as was the off street parking (small car only). The beds were incredibly comfortable. Washing machine a plus. Morrison’s 1.4 miles away. Tesco express a 5 minute walk.

It really is in desperate need of a paint and the water stains on the ceiling in the kitchen addressed as does the side of the bench and where the fridge is. Makes downstairs very un inviting. All the walls had marks on them. Unfortunately the oven was not working. The owner did offer to send some one out but we had full days planned so could not spare the time. We just used the grill and the hot plates. Even if we wanted to we could not sit out in the garden. Full of rubbish and bricks. Upstairs is much more comfortable but unfortunately the shower overflowed every time we used it. We had to turn off the water, wait for it to drain and then turn the water back on. Things really need addressing.
