Marion was a great host. there was car parking. The location was good for us. There was tea and coffee with fresh milk and a full sized fridge.

2 star rating: Minus 1 Star - refrigerator was covered in black mould (s. Photo) Minus 1 Star - hallway, stairwell, upstairs and rooms smelled pissy Minus 1/2 Star - shared bathroom, not for sole use Minus 1/2 Star - Pets were not specified - wouldn't have been too bad for us but if anybody has allergies for instance that's not an option... Although - lovely room and nice people, but we didn't stay longer than an hour... it wasn't for us.

Good value for money!

The host was lovely, helped take my bags in and showed me around. Lovely modern family home, has everything you need in the comfort of your own room.

Didn't realise the bathroom was downstairs but the host did provide a dressing gown if we wanted to go down wearing it. Massive bed but unfortunately, it sunk in the middle. Wasn't aware the hosts had cats, the cats don't enter your room though. Otherwise room has everything you need.

Really warm and friendly, and very helpful. I was travelling on a Lambretta scooter and the weather was atrocious so they put my scooter in the garage. Brilliant.

The house was stunning and clean the room and bathroom were spacious and clean , lovely set up and fabulous shower. The owners were so kind and generous, Marion was so kind and carried my bag to my room which was so kind. A quiet area and quiet house. Very relaxing.

A wonderful accommodation. The hosts are welcoming and on hand to answer any queries. Lovely spacious light filled room with mod cons. Absolutely fantastic value for money. Much nicer than a hotel!

The property was absolutely lovely and well situated in a nice private areas away from main roads. The garden was spacious with comfortable outdoor furniture, and the bed and room was also extremely comfortable. The hosts were absolutely lovely, accommodating to every one of our needs especially Chris who helped with absolutely everything and was an outstanding host. Had a lovely evening with the owners and would 100% stay again.

Comfortable, friendly central and safe.

My room was very comfortable with my own bathroom. It was large and had a table and chairs, fridge, hot drinks making things, cutlery, crockery etc, and I was able to use the main kitchen for cooking, heating up, etc. It was also lovely and quite to sit in the shade out in the back garden, eat my meal, listen to the birds, read. The local bus stop was a few metres away and an easy link to the town and the buses to other towns. There were so many great things to do including Lichfield and the cathedral, Tamworth castle, the arboretum, a big house locally/ Tamworth is a central place to stay for looking at that part of town. Also lots of parking if you have a car, Very safe, felt like home, with obliging hosts who offered to help out several times. Thanks.

A very sunny room, which with the increasing heatwave, was super warm. Maybe a fan would be useful. Would be perfect in the winter, and normal UK weather.

Large, nice, clean room in a family house

Rather large room in a modern family home. Very clean and lovingly furnished, separate bath room. Friendly hostess. Very quiet suburb neighbourhood only practical though with a car. Free parking in front of the house. Best bed on this trip so far.

Parking was a bit difficult because the largest of their cars almost blocked the entrance. In the morning I tried to say goodbye but nobody came out to greet me though I am pretty sure somebody was at home. That made me feel a bit like an intruder rather than a guest.

Perfect

I rented a room here and it was absolutely amazing. The space was cozy, clean, and exactly as described. The owners were incredibly kind, polite, and always willing to help with anything I needed. From the very beginning, I felt welcomed and at home. Everything was well maintained and spotless, and I didn’t encounter a single problem during my stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and peaceful stay
