Oxford, 2 Bedroom Private Flat with Parking

Two minute walk to bus stops which can get you into central Oxford in 20 minutes or Headington where there is supermarket and other shops. Quiet neighbourhood. Ground floor apartment and off street parking if you have a car. Two good size bedrooms. Easy to get onto ring road and out of Oxford for local day tours, avoiding the hassle of central Oxford traffic.

Very comfortable beds and sofa. Access information was sufficiently detailed through photos. Close enough to city centre (we used Thornhill Park and Ride). Reasonable price in comparison with other Oxford rental properties. Very clean throughout. Quiet area, despite the whoosh of traffic from dual carriageway behind the property. (Didn't really affect sleep.) Plenty of towels. Adequate for a short stay.

Large TV but has a sound problem, buzzing constantly on loud sounds eg traffic and music. A few items missing from kitchen equipment eg cheese grater. (Generally basic equipment.) Owner sent access info after I made a request for it at lunchtime on the day of entry. This late information causes a little unnecessary stress and could have been given at least at the start of the day, without being asked.) Also, please note that one car parked in the road received a parking fine because parking is not free after 9am on a weekday. Use the carport offered with this property to avoid a fine.

Very nice clean house. Kitchen was well equipped, spacious Going to city has only one bus service but it is quite close.
