The location is excellent, close to everything, and there's even a really good restaurant at the end of the alley. The staff deserve special mention: friendly, helpful, and genuinely going above and beyond. When we left our scooter behind, they even brought us the scooter all the way to Canggu. Top-notch service.

Whoever designed these properties should be fired. Run away if you value your sleep. This is, without exaggeration, one of the worst villa layouts I've ever seen. There are two villas side by side, and the "architect" decided to place the living area of one villa directly against the open-air bedrooms of the other. The result? We could hear our neighbours urinating, showering, and having conversations in their bedroom, every word, every sound. That's not a minor flaw, that's a fundamental design failure. And it cuts both ways: anyone staying in the other villa is at the mercy of whoever books ours. One dinner party in the living area and the neighbours can forget about sleeping entirely, the noise pours straight into their bedrooms. Villa Alaia is marginally better for sleeping since the other villa's garden is set further back. But don't be fooled, if there's a party at Alaia, the neighbouring villa hears absolutely everything. Zero privacy, zero soundproofing, zero thought. Whoever signed off on this design had clearly never spent a single night in it. Also the WiFi did not work the first day, it kept cutting and they had to come a few times to fix it. It was never really good, it was very slow.
