L’Hotel della Piazza gode di una posizione eccellente, direttamente nel centro della piazza di Pizzo, con bar e ristoranti molto comodi nelle vicinanze. Dall'esterno la struttura si presenta molto bene ed è sicuramente accogliente a primo impatto. Molto apprezzata anche la gentilezza e la disponibilità della ragazza dello staff.
Gli interni avrebbero bisogno di essere rivisti. La camera risultava un po' cupa e il bagno aveva un cattivo odore, probabilmente dovuto agli scarichi. Inoltre, alcuni rumori provenienti dall'esterno si sentivano abbastanza chiaramente in camera, rendendo il soggiorno meno rilassante.
