A disappointing stay due to major construction

The apartment itself was in good condition and matched the photos, which was a positive aspect – though be aware there is noticeable traffic noise from the surroundings. However, there was no access to the outdoor areas shown in the pictures, which was disappointing.

We were looking forward to staying in a great apartment, which we had booked four months in advance to ensure we could find a nice place for our visit to Hamburg. A month before our stay, we were informed about some renovation work. However, we were not offered the option to rebook, and the reservation was non-refundable. Since it sounded like only minor disturbance, we decided to wait and see, and kept the booking. Upon arrival, it turned out that the company renting out the apartment had started major renovations in all the surrounding units. There was dust everywhere in the stairwell. On the second day, it became clear that the construction work was extensive and extremely disruptive. We were woken up around 7:30 a.m. by intense demolition work that made the walls, floors, and even the bed shake. The noise was so loud that we could hardly speak to each other, and it went on for hours, making it impossible to stay in the apartment. We contacted the owner, who acknowledged the issue and informed us that we could now cancel for free. Unfortunately, it was nearly impossible to find another fully equipped apartment for six people during the high season that wasn’t too far from Hamburg. Lacking better options, we decided to stay after being promised that the noise would be reduced – especially in the mornings. We were also promised a 25% discount due to the inconvenience. While the noise did decrease slightly, it was still far from a pleasant experience. To make matters worse, the promised discount has yet to be refunded (it’s now a month ago we were promised it, and I have written several follow-ups). I’m beginning to doubt whether we will ever receive it. All in all, this was a bad experience, and under and under the circumstances, I cannot recommend this place. In my opinion, the apartment should not have been rented out at all during this period – discount or not.

Ideal für einen Städtetrip nach Hamburg

Die Wohnung war sehr gut ausgestattet, es gab zusätzlich Kaffee und Tee sowie genug Küchenrolle und Klopapier. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Es war sauber und die Lage war optimal Direkt neben einem Einkaufszentrum gelegen.

Für unseren Aufenthalt dennoch gut geeignet!

Die Ferienwohnung ist modern und umfangreich ausgestattet! Bad und Toilette sind räumlich getrennt und auf dem neuesten Stand! Ein feiner Zusatz ist die Waschmaschine! Sehr schön ist auch der riesige Balkon mit Grillmöglickeit!

Nachteil war die Lage in der 3.Etage ohne funktionierenden Aufzug! Der Baulärm wurde auch erst kurzfristig angemeldet. Der Schlafzimmerschrank ist für hängende Kleidung nicht funktional, schöne Deko aber kein Stauraum!

Top Lage, nah des Einkaufszentrum und 8 Minuten zur RB81. Moderne Ausstattung und sehr gute Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter. Alle unsere Fragen und Wünsche wurden ernst genommen und erfüllt Alles unkompliziert

Auch wir hatten dass Problem mit dem Baulärm. Allerdings hat sich der Vermieter zu unserer vollen Zufriedenheit darum gekümmert.

Immer wieder eine gern gebuchte Unterkunft. Es ist ruhig, sauber und ich hatte alles was ich brauchte in unmittelbarer Umgebung. Sehr netter Kontakt und hier ist der Service klasse. Alles kontaktlos, somit hat man niemals ein Check In Stress.

Wir hatten 5 schöne Tage in Hamburg und einen guten Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft.

Wir waren 4 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut Ausgestattet und bietet mit 2 Bäder/ Toiletten genug Platz für alle. Das Wohnzimmer ist auch schön geräumig mit einem großen Esstisch. Die Küche bietet alles was man benötigt.

Wir hatten eine Unterkunft mit Terrasse/ Sonnenterrasse gebucht und mussten bei Anreise feststellen, dass diese Unterkunft keine Terrasse besitzt :-( Wir hatten auch ein Babybett reserviert, die Matratze wurde aber erst am zweiten Tag geliefert (dafür war das Babybett aber kostenlos).

Super Aufenthalt

Top eingerichtete Wohnung. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden, die Kaffeemaschine ist eine Kapselmaschiene. Super große Dachterrasse. Die Lage ist zentral, für die Verpflegung ist alles fußläufig zu erreichen. Eine Bushaltestelle ist 2min. entfernt. Bahn ist in ca. 7min. zu erreichen. Autoabstellplatz ist ebenfalls neben dem Haus. Sehr freundlicher Vermieter.

Leider war der Aufzug defekt, aber die 3 Etagen haben wir locker geschafft.
