Great stay in a cosier than expected room

The access using a digicode allowed some freedom for each occumant of the room. Moreover, the kitchen is very well equiped and allows a cosy living for a very resonable price. The couch is also mega.

The location is a bit fat from the city centre but there are a tram and a bus leading there so not the end of the world.

Right off the bat, the owners helped me figure out the door key code. They were just a phone call away even after hours. One code for both the entry door and the room door. This place is exceptional value for the money. In the shared kitchen there are three large refrigerators, each with a sizeable compartment for each room. Everything is clearly marked, even for the mama-boys that need to be reminded that you rinse your own dishes when your done and put them away. Even though the place seemed to be booked in the first week I always had the shared shower facilities (two showers in a large room) for myself. Also I happened to be here during a heat wave with 39 Celsius, my room had reflective blinds and leaving my door open for half an hour in the evening allowed a cross-breeze to cool the room down enough. My side of the building faced a residential neighborhood being dead quite with a georgeous view over the „Hartwald“ that if you rent a bike takes you downtown Karlsruhe in 15min straight through the Forrest. Else there is a busstop in front of the building, 20min to Europaplatz. Last not least you have a box with essential dishes in your wardrobe and a grocery store is across the street. If you enjoy solitude and are a responsible adult there is no better place to stay in Karlsruhe. Uh-ah, and if your irresponsible, there is a gigantic pub and billiards place across the intersection that is open late.

There is a large TV in the room that has You-Tube and streaming access, but since I’m 60+ I would have used cable TV. Maybe I was just too dumb to figure it out;-)

Tanto en la habitación como en la cocina había cucarachas. Los baños y las toallas de las habitaciones estaban sucios. En las habitaciones se oía todo, además la cama y la almohada eran muy incómodas.

War angenehm und sauber

Wir sind in der Nacht um 2 Uhr gekommen, waren total müde, in der Nacht konnten wir im Zimmer den Fernseher nicht ausschalten, es gab keine Fernbedienung, und Stecker war nicht erreichbar, ich musste mit dem Licht vom Fernsehen im Zimmer schlafen. In der Früh um 8 Uhr haben die Personal angefangen Staubsaugen, es war sehr laut, draußen habe ich den Mann gesehen, der geputzt hat, er hat oben nichts angehabt, meine Kinder wollten nicht zur Toilette gehen, weil er nicht angezogen war, ich musste ihm bitten, dass er nicht rauskommt..

Leider gibt es Kakerlaken in den Zimmern. Außerdem war am 6.10. und 07.10. kein warmes Wasser vorhanden. Eine Information hierrüber gab es nicht.

Enttäuschend und absolut unzuverlässig.

Ich kann dieses Hotel leider nicht empfehlen. Weniger als 12 Stunden vor Reisebeginn erhielt ich vom Hotel über WhatsApp eine Stornierung mit der Begründung angeblicher Renovierungsarbeiten. Wir waren zu fünft für das ACDC-Konzert angereist und hatten die Unterkunft Monate im Voraus gebucht. Die Nachricht erreichte uns jedoch erst am Vorabend um 22:30 Uhr – eine alternative Unterkunft war zu diesem Zeitpunkt nicht mehr organisierbar. Zudem wurde ich gedrängt, die Stornierung selbst über Booking vorzunehmen, was ich selbstverständlich nicht getan habe. Auf Nachfrage beim Booking-Kundenservice stellte sich heraus, dass dort keinerlei Information über die angebliche Renovierung vorlag, obwohl das Hotel behauptete, dies bereits vor einer Woche gemeldet zu haben. Booking wird den Fall prüfen und das Hotel entsprechend konfrontieren. Es drängt sich leider der Verdacht auf, dass unser Zimmer kurzfristig zu einem höheren Preis weitervermietet wurde und man uns deshalb storniert hat. Daher: Vorsicht bei Buchungen in diesem Hotel.

De bedden waren comfortabel. Prima om alleen te slapen op doorreis.

De ingang van de locatie was moeilijk te vinden. Onduidelijke aanwijzingen hoe de verdieping te betreden. Rommelige entree. Veel geluidsoverlast. In de doucheruimte allemaal wasrekken van langdurige "bewoners". Weinig tot geen privacy.

Ungeeignet für Alleinreisende, vor allem für Frauen ungeeignet.

Es war nicht gleich erkennbar, dass es sich um eine Unterkunft für mehrere Personen handelt, mit WC und Bad in Flur. Monteure-Zimmer sollte schon in Namen und Betreff stehen. Männer und Frauen WC waren nebeneinander. Gefühlte Privatsphäre 0 Points. "Frauendusche" erreicht man durch die Küche??? Ein "Apartment" für 114 Euro für eine Nacht - da erwarte ich Bad+WC im Zimmer. Alles sehr veraltet und untergekommen. Die Wände sind sehr dünn, man hört alles neben an. Echt unschön, für das Geld. Bett war aber sauber.
