Estúdio praia Labruge

The private apartment was awesome, I was walking the Camino Portuguese Coastal Route and I had a great nights sleep, the bathroom was nice and clean and the hosts were fantastic. I had trouble with the stove, messaged the hosts and they came over to show me how it works. I liked that the church was near by to visit but unfortunately, they did not have evening Mass which I was hoping for. At at nearby makeshift store... I purchased pasta, red sauce, beer and water to make my dinner. It was great!

Well if I'm going to be picky, the only thing is that since I was walking the Camino, it was a 30 minute walk off the path to get to the apartment. I did not plan well for this. Also, there were no cafe's or bar's close by. The hosts were able to point me in the right direction to a small store. It was actually a woman's home that she had converted her living room into a general store. There was dry goods, toiletries, laundry, water, beer and wine. This is not a dislike at all only that I was expecting to find a cafe. But I made my own dinner, which I enjoyed.

Es ist sauber und das Bett hat einen gute Matratze. Die Vermieterin hat uns sogar eine Schüssel mit Kirschen bereitgestellt. Auch der selbstständige Checkin und das Verlassen der Unterkunft geht problemlos.

Der Weg zur Unterkunft ist zwar Interessant, da man etwas vom Hinterland sieht, aber dem Verkehr mit Traktoren und PKW ist bei den engen Straßen und unübersichtlichen Kurven etwas mit Vorsicht zu begegnen.

The room is clean and has everything you need. Bathroom small but functional.

It's not ideal as a stop during el camino on the litoral side, as you have to walk a good 40 minutes in the countryside to reach it (and ofc you gotta do the same to get back to the litoral the next day). I was very disappointed from the communication with the host, as I have left one earring of mine there. It was of not much monetary value but it had a big emotional value for me (it was a souvenir from another travel). I asked her if it was still on the bed side table and I was willing to pay the postage and all but I never had an answer (sent her a couple messages on working days)://
