The Doune, Luxury Traditional Country House with hot tub

The Doune is perfect for a family getaway like our ten member group. The decor, the facilities in the kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms were excellent. Lots of outdoor space for the eight and ten year old in our group. The common areas were ideal for quiet family reflection and conversation. Easy access, with lots of parking, great privacy with no nearby noise. Paul was a perfect host, available on site, but never intrusive. Excellent communication, following booking online, just prior to our trip and during our stay. Very accomodating and flexible in meeting our requests. The location is also ideal, close to the northern and western highlands, close to Speyside and of course to Inverness and all of the wonderful attractions nearby. If you're a history buff, the dowager house of the MacIntosh clan, is a perfect fit. Thank you Paul, for a wonderful stay and for creating many memories. Julius, Janet and family.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Doune! The house and property were absolutely gorgeous. Such a unique stay and plenty of room for our entire group. Close enough to Inverness to travel in easily, but felt like a nice escape from the city. Paul was an exceptional host - very kind and really thorough. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer! Will absolutely be back on our next trip.

Newly completely renovated property, looked like a mini luxurious palace, we felt really special entering the property. We liked the Location, accommodation with nice gardens, mini lake , spectacular views, the spacious modern decorated bedrooms ,all en-suites, well equipped kitchen, absolutely everything you will ever need in a kitchen is there. Plenty of parking space, very well looked after property.Has a hot-tab which we didn’t use because we arrived a bit late. The description of this property is exact. I am recommending this property to anyone visiting Inverness, I will definitely rent this place again. Absolutely nothing wrong We found with this house, we were nine and had a good time there.
