池上澄秧民宿 全自助入住 kaori B&B Fully self-service check-in

Extremely clean and well appointed. Very thoughtful touches like complimentary minibar, free snacks and drinks, comfortable beds. Great location, 1 minute walk from the train station. Free bikes and very close to restaurants, convenience stores and grocery shops. We also received a gift voucher for a local gift (tea or rice) which we loved. Highly recommend!

I stayed in a "Single Room with Bathroom". It's a fully self-service property, with self-check-in, etc. so I didn't meet any staff, but the people I messaged with were friendly and replied promptly. Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable. The balcony feels a bit like wasted space though, since it's tiny, mostly occupied and facing a wall. My favourite part of the stay was the lounge area! It has a drinking water fountain, tea, snacks, drinks like coffee, packaged tea and lemonade. You can access with your room card. It had fast Wifi and good air conditioning. They also had free bikes for their guests and when a tire needed air they arranged something with a shop two houses down the road within minutes.

There was a musty / damp smell in the bathroom and drain flies (pouring boiling water down the drain gets rid of them if your plumbing can handle it). I had the AC on the dehumidifying setting my entire stay.

チェックインとチェックアウトは機械(日本語可)なのでスタッフとの接点はないですが、質問をBooking.com経由のメッセージで送るとすぐに返答をもらえました。アメニティ、設備は完璧で、池上で最高に役立つ自転車も貸し出してもらえます(と言うか、勝手に乗って、勝手に返す方式^^;)駅、スーパー、コンビニ、全てが近く、言うこと無しです。次回も絶対、ここに泊まります！

Although it is all "self check in " and all of that, it is actually a great little hotel. We, as an elderly couple enjoyed it very much. Right accross from the the wonderful PX Mart (which even sells white wine!) and very central in the town. The free bikes are a joy. We had a lovely room with a balcony with a great view over the town and even the night markets could be seen in the distance. We loved it.
