Welcome to Casa di Licata!
We look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful, new vacation rental in Üdersdorf, in the heart of the Vulkaneifel.
The apartment is located on the lower level of our house, in a very family-friendly neighborhood.
The landscape around Üdersdorf is densely forested and shaped by volcanic activity, which you can admire on lovely walks through the beautiful Löhley Nature Reserve and the adjacent quarry, just a few meters from the apartment.
In addition, three museums in Daun, Manderscheid, and Strohn, as well as the numerous geotrail routes, introduce visitors to the unique features of the Vulkaneifel.
Üdersdorf is the ideal starting point for biking and hiking tours.
Countless biking and hiking trails are located in the immediate vicinity, including the well-known Lieserpfad and Eifelsteig, as well as the famous Maare-Mosel Bike Trail.
In the evening, from the terrace high up on the mountain, you can see the illuminated Aarley Cross; which is the location of the Aarley viewpoint, offering a wonderful view of the surrounding landscape.
The Maare (volcanic lakes) are also nearby.
Some of them have swimming facilities and boat rentals, including the Gemündener Maar, which is just a few minutes’ drive from Üdersdorf.
The town of Daun is just a few minutes’ drive away, and there’s also a good bus service in that direction, including a bike bus (Line 300) that will take you back home after a long bike ride.
