Carla was a superb hostess!From the moment we opened the door with a provided code (check in made easy), the home was immaculate.The beds were heavenly. Each couple drew names to be assigned a bedroom. We drew the king bed bedroom. That bed was more comfortable than home!The toiletries provided were wonderful! I would like them for my guests at my home. Plenty of towels and pillows.We were greeted with delicious homemade cookies. Overall, they have thought of everything and the home is well built with a thoughtful design. Pristine cleanliness!All I can say is "Look no further! Don't pass up this opportunity!

The views are amazing, the hot tub was wonderful, and the host, Carla, was so responsive.Homemade cookies upon check in were an unexpected surprise! Accurate description of place, convenient location, and great communication with host. My family commented several times how much they liked my choice of rentals. Four people in our party were in their 20s. Us older people enjoyed it very much, as well. We would have liked one more day together just to hang in the 6 person hot tub, use the fire pit (wood was provided), cooking fabulous meals, and playing games.A wonderful quiet place for a retreat even on the weekend. It is on a road, next to a church parking lot. Few cars use the road, seemed like only locals. I am a light sleeper and used the bedroom on the front corner of this rancher. I was able to close the lined drapes and slept well. The twin bedroom is beautiful, though it could use binds on the large window if you want to sleep in, for the rising sun is bright, and a street light in the parking lot that shines in because the curtains are not lined. Although my daughter did not complain about the light. Beds are all very comfortable. The sheets on the beds and bath towels are so soft. The bathrooms delightful and clean. The whole house was clean and decorated nicely. House is perfectly located between the Ark Encounter (25 minutes away) and Creation Museum (40 minutes away), which added approximately 10-15 minutes to the road time BUT there are no sounds of trains!!! Thank you so much Carla, for a wonderful vacation!

My words will not do justice to our family's stay at Ross House. The house was immaculately clean, communication with Carla extremely prompt, check-in and check-out a breeze, and plenty of space for a family of 4 ( or 8!). The beds were super comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. Exhausted after a long day of driving, we found delicious homemade cookies waiting for when we checked-in. And then, we discovered the VIEW. Amazing. I sat in the covered porch ( hot tub area) every morning drinking coffee, listening to the birds and looking out over the vista. No buildings ( except a well-kept barn), just lush rolling hills and trees. So peaceful! We were not familiar with the area, but found this home to be very accessible to the interstate and our travel plans.My family thanked me for booking this beautiful home and we hope to stay here again in the near future.

We had a wonderful time staying at the Ross House with our friends and family. The kids loved the hot tub and the yummy pumpkin bread! We had a relaxing time playing games and loved that we were able to cook our own food. The views are beautiful and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. I am truly grateful to the owners for providing such a beautiful property to stay at. EVERYTHING was thought of. Plenty of towels, soap, dish soap, laundry detergent, trash bags, coffee. My daughter was in Cincinnati Children's for a few days and some family cancelled so it was me and my husband, our 3 kids and dog. She checked in on us and brought fresh towels and sheets during the stay and coffee. We had to stay for a week or so. The most tender hearted moment was them providing some food to get us through a few days until we could make it to the grocery store. I have never been around someone with so much hospitality and not require anything in return. I know we paid to stay but they went beyond. Someone mentioned sipping coffee and watching the cows. That was pretty neat but watching the snow cover the rolling hills was a comfort I didn't know I needed. We are from FL So we had a blast with the snow. 30 min from the city. Thank you for the wonderful opportunity to stay there. I highly recommend.

My daughter slept in the room with twin beds she said the lights from the church next door light up the room so it was difficult falling asleep. Maybe some thicker curtains would help . This house was more than enough for us. And thank you for the cinnamon bread! The place was super clean and there is a nice view out the back. This is a great house. Future guests should just be aware that it is not close to shopping or much else. The nearest grocery is about 20 minutes away. If a rural country stay is what you're looking for, this is it! I recommend arriving in the daylight for the first time. We drove there at night and in the rain which was a little difficult. Overall this is a great place and we would definitely stay again when we come back to the area.

Everything was perfect! This home is beautiful! Everything was stocked and had everything we needed. My kids loved rolling down the hill and looking at the cows. The hot tub was fabulous and relaxing after a long day of walking. They had homemade pumpkin there when we arrived. Also, a steak in the freezer that was delicious. We will be visiting again.
