Well-behaved pets are welcome, as the property is fenced and located in a quiet suburban area, right on the edge of the forest. Hiking trails start right at the house.
The historic town center of the small town of Neubukow, with a market, church, bakery, butcher, breakfast café, restaurant, and good shopping options, is only 700 m away.

It’s only 4 km to the natural beach of the Salzhaff, a small, shallow Baltic Sea bay popular with water sports enthusiasts and families with young children. The Baltic Sea beach in the seaside resort of Rerik is 10 km away, Kühlungsborn is 15 km away, and Warnemünde is 35 km away.

Location: The small Mecklenburg town of Neubukow is centrally located between the Hanseatic cities of Wismar and Rostock (both 30 km away) and just a few minutes’ drive from the Baltic Sea resorts of Rerik, Kühlungsborn, and Warnemünde. Stroll along the beach promenades or the piers, and relax in cafés overlooking the Baltic Sea.

Both Hanseatic cities are easily accessible by train (DB) from Neubukow (800 m walk to the DB train station). To the Baltic Sea beach, take the bus to Ostseebad Rerik and Kühlungsborn (600 m walk to the bus stop). Bicycle rental service with delivery available 700 m away.

Leisure activities at the resort: 4 km to the unspoiled sandy beach of the Salzhaff Bay in Pepelow, ideal for water sports and swimming fun with small children, easily accessible by bike via the Baltic Sea Bike Trail. Water sports, surfing, and diving school in Pepelow (4 km); fresh and smoked fish sold by local fishermen; windmill and village museum in Stove; horseback riding center in Lischow; Krempin; artists’ villages. Bicycle ferry on the Salzhaff in the summer between the Baltic Sea island of Poel and the Baltic Sea resort of Rerik. The Baltic Sea resorts of Rerik and Kühlungsborn feature wide white sandy beaches, piers, beach promenades, restaurants and cafés, a shopping district, a movie theater, a water sports center, a climbing forest, a supermarket, a post office, a bank, a gas station, and a golf course.
