Casa dell'Antico Ulivo 1 is an independent flat inside a villa with swimming pool. The villa is about two kilometres from the centre of Mascali and 15 minutes from the beach of Mascali, a very long beach where some bathing establishments alternate with long stretches of free beach. Nearby restaurants and bakery, shops, supermarkets and a pharmacy can be found in the centre of Mascali. Nearby is also the beach of San Marco di Calatabiano, which lies on the stretch of coast between the mouth of the Alcantara river, to the north, and the Fiumefreddo river, to the south, in a wild and natural setting. From the beach it is possible to admire the majesty of the volcano Etna. It borders the renowned sandy beach of Giardini Naxos. Mascali is a perfect destination for visiting the east coast of Sicily but also the Taormina area and its coastline. From the villa it also takes less than 20 minutes to reach the A18 motorway, to reach Catania (35 km), Siracusa (about 100 km), or in the direction of Messina, to visit the seaside resorts on the north-east coast. You can also stay and enjoy some relaxation by the large swimming pool and the splendid panorama.
