Villa Etna Pippo

Excellent location, for all the nature reserves and for those who want to go hiking, a stunning town, local, with charming and cozy cafes, finally feel Sicily without many tourists around, the house feels like we were staying with an Italian nona, lots of personal equipment, tidy, we felt right at home.

It would be advisable to tidy up the garden, even though we arrived out of season, and understand this

It’s a dream place: a cute, very cozy villa surrounded by olive trees… and the view… OMG! You can see green hills and the sea! Loved it!

Everything was just perfect!

L'ospitalità e la disponibilità della signora Santina sono da 10. L’ambiente è davvero accogliente, una casa con una sua storia e una forte personalità, che si percepisce soprattutto nei piccoli dettagli.Non è un luogo sterile o impersonale, né pensato per le feste, ma uno spazio autentico e caldo, in cui ci si sente subito a casa. Un’esperienza piacevole e diversa dalle solite sistemazioni standard. La posizione è strategica per chi vuole esplorare il versante nord dell'Etna.

There was a nice view and I am very thankful that the owner organised us the chair for the baby.

It is very like an abonded house of someone's dead grandparents. It is like a dusty time capsule. First, it was hard to find it and when I found it, I wasn't sure if it is the place,because it had long grass around it etc. Main reason why we wanted this house, was to let our kid play outside, but the grass was longer than him! Inside there was this funny smell and everything was rather dusty and since I have a dust allergy, I was sneezing and had runny eyes. It's full of stuff! Like pointless garbage - clocks without batteries, cardboard boxes etc. Just random stuff. It looks really abonded. Dishes were all very dirty. Everything sticky. The owner was a funny lady - one way I feel sorry for her - she has lost her husband and clearly has trouble to move on and clean the house from their past. Other way - the way she talks, blaiming everybody else, talking badly about guests - she has no respect for the guests. Guests are there to get her money and that's it. Guests are not welcomed. I really feel she doesn't like people in her museum- house and we also didn't like being here. It has been so far my most awful booking.com experience and I have been travelling a lot.
