About this cottage rental
Newly constructed one bedroom detached terrace house in a safe, quiet neighborhood with direct access to world class mountain biking and hiking/running trails. The house is nestled under oak trees adjacent to a small olive grove and vineyard. There is a fully equipped kitchen, bath with shower, full sized washer and dryer and private shaded patio. This is a beautiful fully furnished unit with high ceilings, skylights, Heath tile and wood accents.
The unit’s entry and patio face away from the main house providing the feeling of privacy and being in your own home. This is a perfect place to relax after a long day of work, hiking or biking. There is a Smart TV and WiFi with 11.6 upload and 241 download speeds.
The amazing Marin hiking and mountain biking trails can be accessed directly out the front door. San Anselmo and Fairfax are minutes away and have wonderful restaurants, shops, cafes and music venues. Point Reyes National Seashore, Muir Woods and Samuel P Taylor Park are nearby with beaches, hikes and beautiful views to explore. Wine Country and San Francisco are about 45 min away with all they have to offer.
We do have a dog, a cat and bees on the property. The dog is very friendly with people, the cat is very shy and you likely won't see her during your stay!
The cottage is freestanding from the main house but does share a wall with our office / storage area. There is an enclosed patio in front for your use. There is plenty of street parking for guests and then a flight of garden steps (somewhat uneven) up to the cottage. The driveway, surrounding olive grove and small vineyard are all part of our mini farm and you may see someone around tending the gardens!
No smoking in or on the property, no pets.

The rental was very comfortable and cozy during several days of bad weather. I appreciated being safe and warm on those days/evenings when being outside was a challenge. Jessica was most helpful getting up to the rental with it's quirky steps and off street entrance. Would stay again if in the area.

My husband and I really enjoy our 7 night stay here. It’s clean, modern and private. It was the perfect place to relax after an adventurous day. It’s less than 10 min to downtown Fairfax. We would definitely stay here again.

I stayed at Jessica’s spot for a week and had a really amazing time. Perhaps the best rental I’ve ever had! Amazingly clean, peaceful and quiet and so many nice touches that made a real difference for me. Comfortable bed, really nice pillows, great kitchenware (better than I’ve ever seen!) and good teas and other amenities provided that left me feeling so taken care of. Amazing to be able to walk to hiking trails from the property. I would love to return in the future!!
