We had a very nice experience. I read 1 star reviews and was a little surprised. I honestly think it comes down to preferences and perception. I do agree, this is not a 5 star resort. However, this is a lovely property with friendly service that is always available. We also really enjoyed the food, contrary to the negative reviews. The rooms were also comfortable and clean.

What an amazing property to stay at! We were at this resort for 6 nights, staying in a Larger King Room with plunge pool. From the greetings upon our arrival to the poignant farewell, the staff at The Sheraton could not have been more fantastic. Everyone was friendly, helpful and amazing at their job. Our room was spacious, well-appointed, comfortable and a haven to retreat to each night.
Buffet breakfast each morning was delicious, plenty of options for lunch either at the bar or in the restaurant. Dinner options were a la carte in the Restaurant, nightly themed Feasts or delicious Indian food at Curcuma. Cocktails by the pool are to die for and I highly recommend the Mango Dacquiri.
There are some minor maintenance things that could be attended to but nothing that affected our stay.
We loved every minute staying here and can't wait for an opportunity to go back!

Extremely friendly and welcoming staff made our stay very pleasant. Loved the location and the resort vibes only negative is the food was hit and miss. Definitely would recommend this as a very special place to stay. The staff were so warm and amazing!

Beautiful island, property would benefit from a bit of TLC, concrete paths uneven, many garden lights without covers, however this did not in any way spoil our holiday, great swimming pool and beautiful reef. Staff were so wonderful. Will return
