We had a wonderful stay at Mana Island Resort. The beautiful beach, comfortable accommodation, delicious food, and friendly staff made our experience very enjoyable. There were plenty of activities to enjoy, but also lots of opportunities to relax and unwind. Overall, a fantastic island getaway and we would happily recommend it!

Mana Island is beautiful, but I think it’s worth going in with realistic expectations. This isn’t a luxury resort – it’s quite dated and rundown in areas, and some of the little things aren’t always kept on top of. You’re really going for the island experience rather than the resort itself. The staff absolutely make Mana. The Fijian hospitality is incredible – from the singing on arrival to the nightly music, everyone is so genuinely warm and friendly. The snorkelling straight from the resort is amazing, with beautiful coral and fish, and my husband and son even saw a turtle. We also loved that so many water activities are included for free. The biggest downside for us was the food. It’s expensive, quite basic and very Westernised. With the Japanese restaurant being adults only, families are essentially limited to the one restaurant. Some extras are also surprisingly expensive – bike hire for our family of four was around $200 AUD. We stayed 3 nights and that felt perfect for us. By then we were ready to move on as there isn’t a huge amount to do beyond the beach, pool and water activities. The beds were comfortable, the island is beautiful and the staff are wonderful. I’m really glad we experienced Mana – just go for the people, culture and island experience, not expecting a polished luxury resort.

I booked this through ***agoda***and said three adults & two children. I paid for all five of us. Upon arrival they charged for two children and said they weren’t in initial booking. Very frustrating. Charged us additional*** Tried to deal with ***agoda***and got run around. Otherwise resort nice, lots to do. Definitely walk to village!
