TIKA Lombok

Tucked away down the side road off of Kuta chaos. Very pleased with our choice. Rooms are large, everything is walking distance and the beer in the fridge is Cool

The crazy paving stepping stones that are watered in the morning splash mud up your legs. If that’s the best I can do on a negative from the quite frankly the hotel was perfect. There is Construction going on opposite it wasn’t too noisy, but there is some noise. I’ve stayed in a lot worse.

The shower did not work very well

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was quiet while still being close to the main street. The pool was amazing, the staff were very helpful, and the restaurant was good for breakfast. Our room was comfortable, and having a spa on the property was a bonus

The bathroom could use a little bit of work, and there were some small ants in the room, but they didn’t bother us too much. The only real downside, which was out of the accommodation’s control, was a dog nearby that would howl multiple times throughout the night, every night, which did interrupt our sleep

Pool in Full Sun and Warm: The pool area receives direct sunlight throughout much of the day, making the water uncomfortably warm and limiting its usability for cooling off, especially in Lombok’s tropical climate. • Noise from Construction and Surroundings: There’s ongoing heavy construction directly across the road, which generates significant noise during the day and sometimes into the evening, disrupting peace and quiet. • Thin Walls and Internal Noise: Sound insulation is inadequate, allowing noises from neighboring rooms, overhead footsteps, and rolling items (like luggage) to carry through easily. This can be particularly bothersome for light sleepers. • Room-Specific Issues (e.g., Room 101): Certain rooms, such as 101, are positioned adjacent to the kitchen and cleaning areas, resulting in high levels of noise from staff activities early in the morning and throughout the day. • Severe Water Quality Problem: The most significant issue is the water supply, which has a strong sewerage-like odor. This makes showering unpleasant and raises concerns about hygiene, an experience that’s unusually poor even compared to budget hotels.
