TIKA Lombok

The location was very good as it was away from the hustle and bustle of the Main Street

I didn't like the fact that the new part of the property was open for business even though the building was unfinished. The rooms and pool very nice but the actual building was not near completions. I was booked into this without prior notice of construction and requested to change after night one

The rooms were lovely and super clean. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The overall vibe of the hotel was very good. Location was superb. Just a few mins walk to the Main Street full of cafes and restaurants. Also just a few mins from Kuta beach but in a quieter street.

It was a little bit difficult to find a space by the pool at any point in the day as the few sun beds were always occupied but beyond this small thing, we had no issues :)

Very good location. Straight in the center of kuta but little fit away from the noisy Main Street. Rooms are very confy and the staff is very handy!

Nothing special

• Exceptional Staff: The team is highly attentive and professional, going out of their way to ensure guests feel welcome and assisted. Their service elevates the experience significantly. • Private Rooms with High-Class Details: The rooms provide a good sense of seclusion, which is ideal for those seeking tranquility. The attention to detail in design and furnishings is impressive, giving a luxurious feel that punches above its price point. • Great Cocktails and Food at Good Value: The on-site dining options stand out, with well-crafted cocktails and tasty meals that offer excellent value for money. Portions are generous, and the quality exceeds expectations for the setting. • Solid Working Space and Spa: For remote workers or those needing a productive environment, the dedicated working areas are functional and comfortable. The spa facilities are a highlight, providing relaxing treatments in a serene atmosphere. • Convenient Location: Proximity to the main strip means easy access to shops, restaurants, and beaches without needing transportation, adding to the overall convenience.

Pool in Full Sun and Warm: The pool area receives direct sunlight throughout much of the day, making the water uncomfortably warm and limiting its usability for cooling off, especially in Lombok’s tropical climate. • Noise from Construction and Surroundings: There’s ongoing heavy construction directly across the road, which generates significant noise during the day and sometimes into the evening, disrupting peace and quiet. • Thin Walls and Internal Noise: Sound insulation is inadequate, allowing noises from neighboring rooms, overhead footsteps, and rolling items (like luggage) to carry through easily. This can be particularly bothersome for light sleepers. • Room-Specific Issues (e.g., Room 101): Certain rooms, such as 101, are positioned adjacent to the kitchen and cleaning areas, resulting in high levels of noise from staff activities early in the morning and throughout the day. • Severe Water Quality Problem: The most significant issue is the water supply, which has a strong sewerage-like odor. This makes showering unpleasant and raises concerns about hygiene, an experience that’s unusually poor even compared to budget hotels.
