great location and lovely staff

Close to airport and city center, well connected. Rooms were very clean and the bed was amazingly comfortable. Michelle, who greeted us and took care of the guest, was really nice, just very friendly person, she helped us out a lot, we felt so welcome and comfortable. All this at a very good price, definitely recommend!

Didn’t get a nights sleep

At 4am directly over my head, it began, what transpired to be a couple preparing to leave at 5.30am - perhaps for an early flight in Dublin airport (because that’s when the noise and talking and heavy shoes walking right over my head - and at one stage, one of the parties was tapping something on the floor, like a hammering pattern, cleaning shoes or tapping something into place. It just went on for a huge period of time and when I got up to go and see (by using the bathroom upstairs at 5.30) there was a girl with a suitcase outside the house door waiting for her partner, who I met at the top of the stairs as he was about to descend with his luggage) I think the guest house might be ideally situated for someone using the airport for an early flight or next day flight but the noise and how that impacts when you are trying to rest, you don’t forget it. The person who received me was lovely, a young person stating in the house and the house was clean. It has security cameras in all areas so as such isn’t a guesthouse as you would expect and I though there was a car that just pulled off as I arrived at the house. Perhaps the remote owner checking out my arrival.

Beautiful and cozy house

The house was clean, cozy and comfortable. In a perfect location if you need to work at Dublin airport. I booked the room with the bathroom and it was really beautiful. I also had the chance to meet Gabby’s husband and had a little nice chat with him. A very kind and polite person. There’s restaurants and supermarkets nearby. I really liked it and I hope to go back there soon.

Fire safety not delivering as per listing over priced

Near a good bus route from the airport and it continued into Dublin City Centre It was clean in rooms and the one bathroom

Scam on payment not taking the allocated card. Insisted on cash. Reviews in the past detail how inconvenient that is. Pillows rock hard. Asked for a different pillow (softer). Man there seemed to think this was a strange request, there were no spare to give us. Breakfast advertised at £9 but not available or kitchen facilities Replacement of tea and coffee not done on our 3 night stay. No toiletries supplied as listed. Room not made up even when arranged. Excuse was that we didn’t leave our key with them to get access! Lodge with only 1 key per room ridiculous people loose keys and as these locks were of very cheap design having spare keys should not have been an issue Now the worst issue to report. This lodge is basically a family home with 4 bedrooms ( shared bathroom) rented out nightly. I noticed that the upstairs wired smoke detector had been removed. So our lives were at greater risk from any fire. On my way downstairs to make a complaint to the man in the home I saw a pretty old looking downstairs smoke detector. He said that the upstairs one is missing and a maintenance man is dealing with it and his attitude to my concerns turned sour when I asked when the downstairs smoke detector was last tested and was that test recorded. He said 3 weeks ago and that he doesn’t have to show me the record. He then asked me my profession. I used to be a Health and Safety Officer. A long review to put you off booking here if there are other options and to make the team running the lodge make suitable corrections, especially to safety. Remember saying there is only one key per room, if there’s a fire how are they going to quickly get you out of your room to safety?

Convenient for quick morning trip to airport but too high a price.

Room was ready when we arrived. Proprietor was not there so we emailed her. She replied immediately and called. There was a lock box at front door with main entry key. We had the room with en suite as the other rooms shared a bathroom/shower. Very short/convenient drive to airport.

Price was very high for the small space, even for Dublin. Did not see in description there was no breakfast included in that high price.

Location was great for a concert at croke park. Spacious room Very comfortable bed Powerful shower (although very small) Plenty of storage space

€350 was an absolutely ridiculous price (because of who was playing at croke park. )Would have been nice to of had breakfast included for that price. When asked the host about breakfast she told us there was nice cafes in the area (quite clear she didn’t want to make the breakfast) then to find nowhere was open for breakfast Sunday morning. Disappointing Walls are paper thin and you hear absolutely everything in other rooms. Pillows were like rocks.

Perfect for short stays

The house is really close to the airport and has quick routes to get there. Because our flight was early, on the way we passed a McDonald’s, which was the only place open. The house was just as clean as the photos showed. The room with the double bed was small, but it was comfy and clean. The location is really good. We were able to park the car in the driveway

The room was really hot, there wasn’t a fan, and having the windows half-open wasn’t enough. When we arrived, the only instruction was our room number and which direction the bathroom was, but didn’t give us any other instructions. It sounds silly, but for those not familiar with electric showers, there were no instructions on how to turn it on or if it was already on. It took us a few minutes to figure out how to switch it on, same with the bathroom light. But the water pressure of the shower is wonderful :)

Room for improvement but acceptable for a short stay.

Location was fine - on the main bus route between Dublin Airport and the city centre. Breakfast was OK although the toast was a bit cold on both days.

Having to share a bathroom/toilet - although it didn't cause any delay for me. A young woman, Romanian I think, was the only member of staff and her English was a limited. She said the proprietor Gabby was not there and I assumed she was managing the guest house remotely.

the room i stayed in got very hot, it needs some tinting on the windows. the sun heats the room up. it has been very hot here and if the windows had tinting on them the room would not get as hot. it get all the sun in the morning and then it will stay hot. it all it was a great location to stay at, the staff where great.

One bathroom for 4 rooms that had several beds is not enough. The staff was insistant, argumentative that we pay more than was agreed on after we had gone into the room and paid in cash. The staff chased me with a phone call that she pushed in my face, as I was navigating other travel challenges. No consideration, responsibility to honour price given. The manager went into long explanation of why he had reasons for not giving us the correct price instead of honouring the price he gave and we paid. Was a very messy energy. After insisting and requesting that he honour the price given and paid several times , he agreed. Not good business.

Nice house in a nice neighbourhood. Shared facilities on the second floor. Convenient location for getting to the airport near the busstop of bus 41 which runs 24/7. Not very easy to communicate because the girl who welcomed us spoke poor English. Easy parking in the street in front of the house.

Email the day of check - in from the host told us that the place was cash only (despite the booking.com communication/reservation that credit cards only were taken at this place). This caused a significant issue with us, with lack of currency/euros. Host didn't answer phone, but did communicate via whatsapp. Very stressful communicating back and forth between Booking.com and host trying to figure out the cash only situation. Be prepared. We felt this was unprofessional.

Lovely little room in quiet area on the road to Dublin Airport

Perfect location for an early flight from the airport. Close to bus stop. Quiet, clean residential area. Simple beautiful decoration. Space to eat, shower and sleep. Nice owners. Towels and cosmetics provided. Easy going.

Maybe the hosts should let the guests know that it is quiet time after 10 pm in case they are already in bed.

Unable to control heat in the room. Beautiful bathroom down the hall, but tub bottom slippery with nothing to hang on to. Noisy instant hot water heater. Shower head spraying every which way, needs cleaning or replacement.

The house was lovely and clean, the bedroom was a great size bed was comfortable

The noise is crazy in this house. There is a ‘quiet time’ between 10pm and 7am but no one adhered by this. People were in and out of the shower all night long this was especially bad for us as our room shared a wall with the bathroom. For people staying in that room there should be no showers in the quiet time. Very bad sleep

Good proximity to airport and car rental. Easy to get to in a quiet neighborhood with a restaurant and small store in walking distance. Bed very comfortable. Very nice kitchen.

Pretty close to the airport, easy street parking, and close to a bus stop to city center so we didn't have to drive in. Room, kitchen, and shared bathroom were clean.

Walls are very thin - if you are a light sleeper and have loud neighbors, it may be an issue for you. Learned it was cash-only just the day before arrival but was able to go to a nearby grocery store to get cash.

Our stay at Maya’s Lodge was all in all perfect - the room was recently and very well renovated, the bus stop to the airport was very close, the neighbourhood quiet and safe and to top it off, we found a nice pub nearby to enjoy a pizza.

Vermieter freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zimmer sauber und Betten bequem. Gute Lage etwa auf halber Strecke zwischen Flughafen und Innenstadt von Dublin.

Das Zimmer war etwas hellhörig, das hat uns aber nicht weiter gestört.

ATTENTION, ce n'est pas un B&B mais un micro-hôtel sans restauration avec parking gratuit.

Bien situé pour aller déposer quelqu'un à l'aéroport de Dublin : 9 mn en voiture. Lits confortables, vue sur un jardin (avec un écureuil gris !) Parking inclus. Banale mais chambre de petit hôtel très correcte, et à prix raisonnable, vu les prix pratiqués à Dublin.

CE N'EST PAS UN B&B ! Contrairement à l'annonce, ce n'est pas un Bed and breakfast. Pas de petit déjeuner offert, rien ! Et, malgré les pubs dans l'entrée qui propose toutes des plats à emporter dans le coin, impossible de manger sur place. Il y a bien une cuisine, et un jardin avec table et chaises, mais tout est condamné et interdit. Super décevant... et trompeur ! Il s'agit en réalité d'un micro-hôtel de 4 chambres sans restauration, avec une employée juste là quand vous arrivez. Il faut juste le savoir.

Es wurde Barzahlung (225€) gefordert, nach der Bezahlung vor Ort wurde uns dann gesagt, dass es kein Frühstück gibt, da die Küche nicht verfügbar ist. Das Bad mussten wir uns mit 4 weiteren Personen teilen, Kosmetikartikel, wie in der Buchung versprochen - Fehlanzeige!!!

1. La finestra della camera non si poteva aprire (era rotta, ma non abbiamo avuto uno sconto per questo) 2. La doccia si accendeva da fuori della porta del bagno: non era possibile farla se non c’era qualcuno a spegnere/accendere 3. Trovata molta polvere sul pavimento 4. Abbiamo dovuto chiedere sia carta igienica, sia asciugamani per le mani 5. Manca tappeto doccia 6. Abbiamo dovuto pagare in contanti (siamo stati avvisati solo 3ore prima)
